Warm Wishes

 We have a sweep of bad weather hitting the country at the moment with severe flooding in the same area that is battling Covid Delta cases.  Some people have had to be evacuated from the homes while still trying as best they can to keep the social distancing and masking happening.

Where I am, we have no Covid cases and we have heavy winds but nothing worse so I am quite lucky.

 I've always like the contrast between a die-cut and contrasting colour so when white as a focus was the theme of the challenge, I knew I wanted to put it on top of a vivid or black background.  I eventually decided on the black.

 When I am working on some colouring, I like to keep my markers handy in case I have to retouch some of my colouring.  I usually leave them on the desk but they can end up getting in the way so I made a container to put them in.

I use a lot of double sided tape and end up with the empty reels.  I stacked some together and then papered over them.

Next was some acrylic paint inside and out.  I applied a serviette over the top using Mod Podge.  The image is from The Paper Shelter and is coloured with copic markers before fussy cutting.  I added some flower stickers and Nuvo Drops to fill in the gaps between the images.
