The optional twist for the February Challenge at Beccy's Place is a Toss A Coin.  I was a bit apprehensive on a couple of the options but I would have dealt with it if I had got the worst option for me.

I threw Tails then Heads then Tails then Heads then Tails.  I would have preferred Heads on the first toss but I doodled some hearts on the balloon to make it work.

I managed to join in the ATC challenge at Gecko Galz again this month.  These are a bit more vibrant than the photo suggests.

I have used the ATC set supplied for the February Challenge.  I inked the edges of the sentiments, hearts and ATC with Distress Ink Black Soot.  I also added some Glossy Accents to the red part of the heart in the centre card and along the broken edges of the "shattered" heart (to resemble the sparkle that you get from broken glass).  I raised up both the left and centre hearts above the card base.  I also added some enamel dots to the centre card and Nuvo Drops to the other two cards.

For A Friend

Butterfly Double Slider Card

 I wasn't sure that I would attempt the card fold for the current Butterfly Challenge but due to the high winds last night and not being able to sleep I managed to complete.  I am not happy with one part but would thinks out a bit more before I start if I make this again (suffice to say I can understand why Mrs A didn't add patterned paper to the front).  

I was just writing this up and thought I had missed one element.  In going back to the challenge post, I saw it was "Die Cut" which I had already covered.

I have used a paper from a paper pad by Uniti.  I bought this one a couple of years ago and now wish I'd bought more than one pad.  The image is from Le'Ann's World and the sentiment is from DeeDee's Digis.  The large heart is a die by Marianne Design.  The smaller glitter hearts are ones that I bought some time ago and thought they would be perfect for a mermaid card.  I think this is only the second time I've used them so I still have some left for another card or two.

Winter

 This is my first attempt at a Junk Journal and I went mainly free-flow with it.  I probably should have followed a tutorial so that I knew I was on the right path.  I did follow a tutorial for the little charm on the front though.

This post is a little photo heavy and that is with me not photographing some pages that were similar to other pages.

I followed a tutorial by Saacibo for the charm.  I die-cut a circle from an image from a Gecko Galz sheet.  I also die-cut the other circles from scrap cardstock.

I aged the pages using tea bags.  The inking on the edges is with Distress Ink Vintage Photo.  The pages are recycled from a Visual Art Diary.  I removed pages so that the diary would sit flat and this was a good way of using those as well.  I sewed the "signatures" together with thread.
