Happy Days

I had saved the image for the October Challenge at Beccy's Place.  I then chose a paper to work with the image.  When I went back to the post, I noticed there was a digital paper there as well.  I would have like to use that too but I'd already printed this paper out when I saw the October one so I didn't want to waste it.  I don't know if I missed the paper the first time (I wouldn't be surprised with the way my eyes have been) or whether it was added after I first visited the post this month.  I'm sure I'll find another occasion to create with that paper.

 I am really cutting it fine with the Progressive Freebie Challenge at The Outlawz this month.  It is late morning on the last day of October and I'm only just uploading.

Today, we have another wet and cold day.  It is hard to believe that we are in Spring now.  One of my heaters has decided it doesn't want to work so it is fairly cold in that room.

I have used a digital paper from PixelScrapper. The image is from Anne's Digital Art and the sentiment is from DeeDee's Digis.  I inked the background of the image panel with Distress Oxides and colored the image with copic markers.  I added some small glitter gems.

Gecko Galz Challenges - October 2023

 Hopefully this will be the last month that I do one post for all the challenges at Gecko Galz.  I find it messy doing it this way but with my eyes the way they have been since surgery this has been the simplest solution to reduce computer time.  I pick up new glasses tomorrow (with a way different prescription) so hopefully that will fix the remaining issues that I have.  It has been a long 4 months dealing with this so I am really hoping that things will be easier after tomorrow.

Thinking Of You

We have a lovely sunny day here today.  So far, it hasn't been a too pleasant spring with rain and cold days but fingers crossed we will start seeing more days like this.  I haven't been outside as yet so I don't know what the outside temperature is like though.

I created this card over the past couple of days so time to upload it.

Midway Inspiration at 12 Months of Christmas, so it is my time to share my project for the October Challenge.  The optional twist this month is Fancy Fold Cards or Shaped Cards.  I decided on sharing a Fancy Fold Card.

It is the start of the October Challenge at Jan's Digi Stamps.  I'm a little late in the day with this post - it's just been one of those mornings. 

 

I have created two projects.

This is the first project using Candy Cane from Jan's Digi Stamps.
