Sweet Sketch Wednesday

I'm having trouble with my internet connection at present - possibly because we are on slow speed because we went over our monthly limit!!  It's driving me nuts and it is another week before the new billing month comes around!

Okay, enough about that, let's have a look at the card I created:

The inspiration for this card, comes from this sketch (which I rotated):

I am entering this card in these challenges:
Sweet Sketch Wednesday - sketch as above

Sassy Studio Designs - black, white and shades of grey
http://sassystudiodesigns.blogspot.co.nz/2012/11/fifty-shades-of-sassy-blog-hop.html

Although the Sassy Studio Designs challenge did give us some leeway with skin tones and hair tones, I decided to take the Black & White TV approach when we  didn't have skin tones, etc.  Everything was in shades of grey.

The tartan background paper comes from Trimgym.  The other two background papers are from my stash - I think they came from a pack of Black and White papers.  The black matting is cardstock.  The image is a new one from Sassy Studio Designs called Shady Sassy.  She is inspired by a book I haven't read (I'm probably about the only one who hasn't read it) so my card may not actually reflect the book.  My eyesight doesn't allow me to read for long so tackling a book is out of the question.

The flower I have added is constructed from two separate flowers and then a clear rhinestone (coloured black with copic 100) added to the centre.
