Happy New Year

Now I know this image is meant to be for a first birthday... but figured that the 1 could stand for 1st January.  I wanted a cute card to send and this fits the bill.

Aside from the fact that the crafter is old, the cardstock that I used for the matting has been in my stash for a long time.  The pearls I bought just before Christmas so hopefully that is new enough.

I used a patchwork patterned paper by Bearly Mine Designs which matched perfectly with this image from Beccy's Place.  The sentiment is from Desert Diva.  I have kept all the colouring in this card fairly soft.  I added a few pearls as embellishments.
