Candy Cane Bear

This is my final card for the week long Christmas challenge at Catch the Bug:

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Catch the Bug - Week Long Christmas Challenges

CHNC - Anything Christmas

CHNC - Trees (on the background paper)

Brown Sugar - Anything Goes

I have used a paper from MME together with some red scrap paper from a scrap paper pack to create the layers in this card.  The cream grosgrain ribbon is from American Crafts.  The image is this week's freebie from Bugaboo Stamps which I have coloured with copic markers RV10, E15, E11, R59, R36 and then added some Stickles - Frosted Lace to the hat trim and some Glossy Accents to the candy cane to give it the sheen that candy canes have.  I have also added some red rhinestones for a bit more sparkle.

I have had immense fun creating cards for this week's challenges.  I am so much more prepared for Christmas now too.
