Blue Angel

For some reason when I think of angels, I often think of the colour blue.  Maybe it's because I associate them with sitting on clouds in the blue sky!  So, yet again, I have worked with a blue colour scheme for an angel image!

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Open Minded Challenge - Monochrome
http://open-mindedcraftingfun.blogspot.co.nz/2014/02/challenge-4-monochrome.html
Little Tangles - Monchromatic
http://littletangles.blogspot.co.nz/2014/02/challenge-31-monochromatic-color-scheme.html

I have used a background paper from Kaisercraft.  The image is from Di's Digital Downloads and coloured with various copic markers.  I have also added some faux stitching using a Distress Marker.  Embellishments are a string of combined pearls and rhinestones plus some light blue mesh ribbon.

More Than One Fold

This should have been a fairly simple card - yet I struggled to decide what sort of fold to use.  In the end I decided on a gate fold card as I haven't made one for a while!

Frame It

It is time for a new challenge at Scribbles Designs.

Frames are a great way to draw attention to an item on your page helping to create a focal point.  They are also very versatile and can create quite an impact on your project.  So, this month we want you to use a frame somewhere on your creation.  We can't wait to see what you come up with.

Here is some inspiration from me to get you started:
