Sock Monkey Thank You Card

When I saw the colour palette at The Outlawz Tuesday Challenge it just about stumped me!  I finally decided on this:

I have used a corrugated iron patterned paper from Kaisercraft for this card.  I embossed a piece of shimmer cardstock from DCWV using an embossing folder.  I then stencilled some polka dots on a piece of scrap cardstock using Distress Ink - Pumice Stone and a Memory Box stencil.  The image is from Bugaboo Stamps and is called Sock Monkey - September.  The sentiment is from Netty's Cards and I thought this would work perfectly for the husband of my son's German teacher who is accompanying them on an overseas trip in a few week's time.
