I used a lovely Victorian looking music paper for the background of the image.  I thought the contrast between vintage and bright worked well.

I have used a music themed paper from a Christmas paper pad.  The image is from Lacy Sunshine and coloured with copic markers with the addition of Stickles on the trims.  I added a candy cane embellishment but otherwise left it CAS so the paper can shine through a little.
