I have used a pre-made kraft gift bag.  I inked the bag with some Distress Inks.  I die-cut a butterfly, corners and flowers using some of the Marianne's dies that I have.  I also added some die-cut shapes from Rosie's Studio.  I went to the shops today to get some air-dry clay and ended buying these as well!  I further embellished the die-cuts with Kindy Glitz and Nuvo Crystal Drops.

I spent the day listing my dies so I knew what I had, so can now add which ones I used here:

Flowers

I originally coloured this a few weeks ago to fit a colour challenge - but didn't get it completed in time!  However, this time it has managed to get completed!

Vase of Roses

I have three of these combo die/embossing folders but seldom use them.  I found them a few days ago and decided I should actually use them!  The challenge at Delicious Doodles was a good prod to do that!

I have used a paper from a paper pad by Kaisercraft.  The image is from Delicious |Doodles and is coloured with copic markers.  The die/embossing folder is from Marianne's Designs.  I added some copic marker YG03 to some of the embossing.  I also added three green rhinestones.

Flap Fold Card

During the winter months I am not anywhere near as busy with work.  So, I intend to work my way through as many of the tutorials on the Beccy Place blog.  So far, I have done the Double Z Fold Card, the altered gate fold card and the Joyfold Card which you can see by clicking the links.  This time I have used the Flap Fold Card fold.   I have a lot of folds left to try!

Matting is pink pearlescent paper.

When I saw the image for the current progressive challenge at Limited Runs, I knew just what I wanted to do.  And the sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday was perfect for it.  So, for once I'm way ahead of time with the progressive challenge!

The papers come from a stack of papers that were in a plastic packet.  Now that they are out of the packet I have no idea of the brand!  Papers are much easier to keep track of when they are in a paper pad form!  The image is from The Paper Shelter and is coloured with copic markers.  I also used some die-cut letters and some resin flowers.  Faux stitching is done with a Faber Castell Pitt Artist Marker Pen.

I have used a digital paper from Miss Daisy.  The image and sentiment are also from Miss Daisy and have been coloured with copic markers and Kindy Glitz.  Matting is orange pearlescent paper.  I used the orange pearlescent paper as well as some blue cardstock to die-cut some poinsettia flowers using a Marianne's Die and then embellished the centres with pearls coloured with copic markers.

Fold it Fancy

I often admire fancy folded cards but never have the time to work through the whole measuring process.  I decided it was time to do something about that over my quiet work time and actually make some of them!  This is the second fold that I have attempted:

I followed the tutorial for Double Z Fold Cards on Beccy's Place.  I used two colours of cardstock and two different scrapbook papers.  The image is from Di's Digi and is coloured with copic markers and Kindy Glitz.  The sentiment is from Digi Doodles.  I also added some faux stitching using a Faber Castell Pitt Artist Marker Pen and two foam snowflake embellishments.

I have used a paper from a paper pad by Kaisercraft.  The image is from Dr Digi's House of Stamps and is coloured with copic markers with a touch of Kindy Glitz for the soap suds.  I also used some pearlescent paper, washi tape and some masculine embellishments.

Copic Container

I end up with alot of empty double sided tape rolls - so decided to recycle some of them.   This is an early stage of them - showing the joined together rolls as well as partially paper maché.

After this stage, I added a couple of layers of gesso - both inside and outside and then painted with acrylic paint from Kaisercraft.

I added an image from Morgan's Art World which I coloured with copic markers and Kindy Glitz.  I also added some embellishments, a paper ribbon and several Nuvo drops.

I have followed a template for a Altered Gatefold Card found at Beccy's Place using blue cardstock.  I added some scrapbook paper to the blue cardstock leaving some of the cardstock showing as a border.  The image is from Bugaboo Stamps and is coloured with copic markers.  The sentiment on the inside is from Bird's Cards.  I also added some sunglasses embellishments to the gift pocket on the layer under the sentiment.  I used offcuts of the base cardstock for matting the pocket and the image.

That title reminds me of a song!  However, it is also the theme of the new challenge at Scribbles Designs.

I have used an image and a sentiment from Scribbles Designs.  The image is called Emily's Trailer and the sentiment is Laughter Vacation Quote.

I have also used a paper from Scribbles Doodles Designs.  Colouring of the image is with copic markers and I used some Dimension Magic on the windows.  Matting is pearlescent paper.  I also added some silver glitter tape under the image.

Love Is In The Air

When I was reorganising my craft space, I discovered that I had a lot of love/heart themed embellishments, etc.  This card gave me a chance to use some of them.

I have used a patterned card blank which I covered over with the exception of the heart.  I added some Dimensional Magic to the heart.  The image is from The Paper Shelter and is coloured with copic markers.  I also used some pink cardstock for matting, a bling "ribbon", some heart patterned washi tape and some heart themed dome stickers

Present Not Perfect

This is part two of the flip calendar that I created as my DT inspiration for the current challenge at Path of Positivity of which the theme is Present Not Perfect.  Part one of my calendar can be found here, the midway challenge post here and the link up here.

For my midway make, I have used several sets from Pickled Potpourri Designs - Pink Polka Dot Calendar Set and Forever Friends as well as Botanical Minis.

 

The quotes that I used come from Brainy Quotes and I have typed them out on my computer.  Colouring is with copic markers.  I also added some embellishments from Rosie's Studio along with some die-cut embellishments.  I bound the calendar using the Zutter binding system.

Cute Christmas
