I have used a digital paper from Gecko Galz from a set called Antique.  The image comes from a Gecko Galz sheet called Lady Jane and the sentiment comes from a sheet called Words From Austen.  I also used some vintage lace which I made more vintage by inking with Distress Ink (Vintage Photo) and some pre-made roses.  I also inked the edges of the image, sentiments, matting and card with the same Distress Ink.

I have used a digital paper from Beccy's Place.  The image and sentiment are also from Beccy's Place.  I put some white lace under the image and also added a dome sticker that had the two colours from the image in it (I had already coloured the image so it was a lucky find).  I inked the edges of the sentiment with a copic marker.

Spring Wishes

I was really trying not to be last minute with cards this month but somehow April disappeared on me.  It doesn't help that half of the time I have no idea what day of the week it is let alone the date of the month.
We are now in the first week of eased lockdown where all businesses can now handle online orders with contactless delivery.  Over the almost five weeks of lockdown only essential products could be handled by online orders.  The hope is that we are only in this level for 2 weeks but time will tell on that.

I have used a digital paper and an image from Gecko Galz.  I added some Kindy Glitz to the dragonfly and some Wink of Stella to the flower.  I also added some gems.  Matting is white cardstock coloured with a copic marker as I couldn't find the colour that I wanted to use!

Perseverance

I had a number of challenges with this card but got there in the end.  After seeking clarification on one of the measurements, I thought it would be a breeze.  I was wrong!  Somehow I misread the instructions and stuck the cross-piece on wrong.  I got it sorted in the end but not before I totally confused myself.   I think the process of creating this inspired the sentiment I used!  I have taken three pictures of the card:

Steam Power

The daily lockdown challenge at Gecko Galz is "Steam Power".  I had fun with this one getting a bit messy too!

I used a black card base for this one.  I embossed a piece of black cardstock with an embossing folder and then inked it with Cosmic Shimmer Metallic Gilding Polish.  The image is from Gecko Galz.   I matted the image and then added it to the embossed panel.  I die-cut some gears using two different die sets from Memory Box and black cardstock.  I added Creative Expressions Metallic Gilding Wax (Patina) and Nuvo Embellishment Mousse to the gears (using my fingers).

I have created a background using the cling-wrap technique and four colours of Distress Ink. I used an image from Gecko Galz.  I also added some diecuts cut from black cardstock.  The ghosts are from Memory Box and the Halloween and bats are from Sissix (Tim Holtz).  I added three colours of organza ribbon through the tag hole.

I have used two digital papers from Trimgym.  I covered the join with some narrow ribbon.  The image is from Cute n Crafty Momma and the sentiment is from Bird's Cards.  Colouring is wtih copic markers.  I also inked the top of the card and the outer rim of the sentiment with Distress Ink.  I created the embellishment using Angelina Fibre to create the bag and then filled it with some shell and starfish embellishments.

The Coffee Place

The theme at The Outlawz Thursday Challenge is Map or Sign.  I decided to create a scene using a sign for a coffee shop which I created using an image and a sentiment.

I used a wood patterned paper from Kaisercraft to represent the fence behind the sign.  I created the sign by combining an image from Stamplorations with a sentiment from Beyond The Fringe.  I hand drew the sign itself. I die cut a grass and flower border die from Memory Box to place at the bottom of the fence.  Colouring (and the outline of the sign) is with copic markers.

I almost finished colouring this in 10 minutes - one word short!  I'll carry on with it tomorrow and maybe start the next one too.  I have one more printed out but there is one more of the free images that I got that relate to the current situation that I would also like to colour so I will print out that one too.

I have used black cardstock to create the Accordian Card.  I stencilled some stars on each panel using Nuvo Glitter Paste.  I printed the images from Gecko Galz out and then matted them with silver cardstock.  I die-cut the lettering using the same cardstock.

I followed a tutorial for an Accordian Card at Beccy's Place.

Advice From A Friend - completed

I finally completed my second colouring project today.  I'm enjoying this colouring without any end goal - just colouring for the sake of colouring.

Fox in Nature

Ever thought something was a good idea - and then it turns out not quite such a good idea?  This was one of those times.  It was really fiddly putting the coloured pieces in the frame.  I actually wish I'd just stuck to two colours as it would have been alot easier.  I ended up cutting the smallest pieces several times as I kept losing them.
