I have used a background that I made some time ago (so long ago that I can't remember what I used for it but suspect it may be Dylusions Spray).  The image is from The Paper Shelter and the sentiment is one that I typed on the computer (see below)

A couple of days ago, I was looking for some embellishments and came across several packs of sentiments that I had typed on the computer:

So, my sentiment total in my Awaiting Crafting box has just increased by quite a bit!

You're The Beary Best

This month at Beccy's Place, the optional twist is Zentangle.  It is not something I have attempted before but I like to include Beccy's twist and step outside my comfort zone.  I am quite pleased with my first attempt and may give this another go at some point.  I zentangled the background paper, and the image (ears, nose, paws, heart and cord).  I also added a bit to the fur of the bear.

I have used a digital paper from Manu Design Studio (from a set I won in the month of Gecko Challenges at the start of the pandemic).  The image is from Gecko Galz and I'm not sure of the source of the sentiment.  I inked the edges of the sentiment, image and paper with Distress Ink Vintage Photo.  I also added a tiny pearl to the sentiment tag.

 This card isn't embellished how I would have liked to.  I couldn't find the embellishments that I wanted to use.  I made a declaration that I wouldn't buy any crafting supplies in January so I also needed to stick to that.  I have run out of time to find the embellishments that I wanted to use - you can guarantee I'll find them in the next day or so when I'm looking for something else though.

I have used an oriental paper that I bought from a Japanese store called Daiso.  I bought it well before the pandemic hit so my memory might be wrong but I think they were designed as origami papers.   The image is from Gecko Galz and I'm not certain of the source of the digital sentiment (it is from my Awaiting Crafting box). I added some Wink of Stella (silver and clear) to the image.  I also added some velveteen ribbon and some metallic silver matting.

I have used a paper from a paper pad for the main piece.  I added a digital paper (gingham) from Lozzy across the bottom piece of the card.  The believe is a die that I won and hadn't actually used before.  I also added a butterfly from my stash - I tend to buy anything butterfly themed when I see it as they are so versatile to add to cards.

I am really going to try hard this year to reduce my Awaiting Crafting Boxes.  I have three - one of digital paper, one of digital images and one of digital sentiments.  I had a habit at one stage of printing extras to decide which I wanted to use.  I have mostly broken that habit but I do have a lot left over from when I did this.  This card uses one from each box - so some progress!

 This is the final card for the week long Woodland Birthday Bash at Catch The Bug.  I'm not totally happy with this one but I can't work out why (think I'm just too tired) so I'm just going to go with what I have got now.

I have used two digital papers for the background - the music one is from My Graphico and I'm not certain of the source of the other one.  I covered the joins between the papers with some PeelCraft Stickers.  

The image and sentiment are from two different sets from Bugaboo Stamps.  Colouring is with copic markers to match the colour palette inspiration for this challenge.  That is part of the reason for the blue fox - and I felt like a change of colours for the fox.  Maybe the fox is feeling the cold a bit?
