Wrapped In Love

I'm back to a card inspired by one of the recent summits.  This one is hand drawn and then watercoloured.  As someone whose drawing consists of stick figures I'm really proud of this.  After colouring the gifts, I outlined them with a Black Pigment Liner.

Colouring is with Tansai Gambi Watercolour Paints.   The image design comes from a tutorial by Laurel Beard from the Stress Free Cardmakers Summit.  The sentiment is also from Laurel Beard.

Merry Christmas

I posted a card yesterday that had the centre die-cut out of it.  This is what I came up with for the die-cut.  In the summit, Jess had left the images uncoloured but I decided to use the lightest pink, green and yellow copic markers on the images that I chose to use.

Season's Greetings

We are up to Day 21 at Beccy's Place Month of Holiday Cards.  Today's prompt is S.

Most of the images and sentiments that I used for today's card are now retired (the exception is the one on the message panel).

This is another summit card similar to the one yesterday.  I flipped over one of the patterned pieces to use the reverse side as a background for the image.  This one is inspired by a tutorial by Jess at the Cardmaker's Success Summit.  The original intention on yesterday's card was to have the reverse of this one - except I glued the wrong side of the cross pieces.  I left this one until today and took more care with it.

Gnome

It is just about time for bed for me but I thought I'd upload another of the summit cards that I have completed.

I still have a lot of Summit Cards in various stages of completion.  I am going to try and work a bit faster and get more uploaded soon.

The background was created using washi tape.  I diecut out the centre and added a reindeer image by Beccy's Place.  The sentiment is also by Beccy's Place.

I intend to create another card using the die-cut piece from the centre but not entirely sure what I am doing as yet.

Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year

I had intended on spacing out the uploading of the cards today as my eyes can't take too long sitting in front of a screen. Unfortunately, some other things came up during the day so I can't avoid uploading them around the same time.  I'll probably pay the price for uploading a few cards in close succession.  This one closes overnight so I can't leave it until the morning.

2024 Christmas Countdown 1

Last year I created a Christmas Countdown made of various shapes that I was struggling to get finished before the date came up in December.  This year I am starting earlier in the hope that it is completed before December 1st.

The idea is that at the end of December 1st, you bring done the 1 and record on the back what you did that day.  You continue doing this until you reach Christmas Day.

This is the first five for 2024:

Happiest Holidays

I managed to work on some more summit cards while I needed to take time away from the screen.  This is the first one that has reached the point of being able to be uploaded - using papers from yesterday's prompt card.  I have another one that has the cardstock cut out that still needs some papers added.

I finally made a decision on what I was doing for N.  I couldn't find a "N" fold that I hadn't already done, so I re-made one but in a smaller size as I didn't have any 12 x 12 in a light enough weight.

The Herald Angels

Keeping on schedule with the cards using the Kendra Sketches.  This is the eighth one I've uploaded.  This is Sketch 12 as I have been doing them out of order - depending what scraps I have to fit the sketches.  Today I have used scraps from the F and J cards.

Joy

I had a bad day yesterday and have got behind with the daily prompts at Beccy's Place.  I managed to do yesterday's one this morning but I'm not sure when I'll get today's one done as I haven't made a decision on what I am doing - and I need to go out for a while this afternoon.

The prompt for Day 15 is tartans, plaids and/or checks.  I found that I had a paper pad with two different checks in them.  I also added another

and this is the inside of the card.  The patterned paper includes the teal that I coloured the candle with.

All of the papers are from the same paper pad by Rosie's Studio.  The image and sentiment are by Beccy's Place.  Colouring is with copic markers.

I followed a tutorial for a Joy Fold Card by Beccy's Place.

After spending the majority of yesterday off the computer, I have a bit to catch up on.   I am going to pace myself on the computer today but do need to get some cards uploaded today.

The sketch had an abstract type background which normally I'd look at and just use a patterned paper.  When I first looked at it, I was thinking of a gel printed background with alcohol inks.  When I was looking for where I had put my alcohol inks, I came across my Brusho Powders and decided to create something using those.

Since there are 15 sketches in the Kendra Card Challenge and 30 days in November, I have been trying to get one completed every two days to upload on an even numbered day.  I'm now behind as this is the one that I should have uploaded yesterday (12th).  Hopefully, I can get another one completed to upload tomorrow since we are back to even numbered days tomorrow.

I am starting to use some more of the scraps from November cards.  This one uses the scraps from Day 11 (J):
