I have used a digital paper, image and sentiment from Beccy's Place.  I fussy cut the image and inked the edges with Distress Oxide.  I matted the sentiment with some printed kraft cardstock.  Colouring is with copic markers.  I also added some narrow ribbon across the card.

Steampunk Fairy

I added some watercolouring to the image to bring out the colours a little as my printer seems to print the colours fairly muted.

 We are having a day of sunshine and rain without any warning.  I hung out my washing earlier today as the sky was blue and it has since been rained on twice so it is possibly wetter than when I put it out despite the sun currently shining.  Oh well, not much I can do about it.

I have used a digital paper and image from Gecko Galz. I printed out the image twice and then fussy cut the presents from the second image and used mount tape to raise them up to give some more dimension.

 Midway inspiration at Path of Positivity.  The optional twist this month is Power of Words: Art/Creativity.

In honour of NZ Music Month, I have created a music themed page.  Each year I listen to NZ Music for the month of May.  There are a lot of events on but I just content myself with listening to music at home.

Elves at Work

 It is midway inspiration time at 12 Months of Christmas.  The optional twist for the May Challenge is Elves.

I have used a digital paper by Décosse's Dynamite Doodles (May 2024 paper for 12 Months of Christmas).  The image/sentiment is by Scribbles Designs and has been die-cut using a stitched edge rectangle die.  Colouring is with copic markers and Kindy Glitz.  To continue the elf theme, I also added some elf patterned ribbon and an elf dimensional sticker (along with a gift and star from the same sheet)

Happy Spring

 The May challenge at Incy Wincy Designs is under way.  The themes for this month are Spring and/or Animals.

When I think of spring I think of daffodils bearing the first buds of the season.  For me, Spring is still a number of months away but it is nice to create a spring card when the cooler winter temperatures are just starting to hit.
