Gold Skater

I thought I would make a Christmas Card with more of a gold feel to it.  Not really traditional Christmas colours and not really non-traditional either.  Kind of sits on the fence!

The paper is from Bearly Mine Designs and has been matted with gold metallic paper.  The image is from Kenny K and coloured with copic markers E00, Y28 and E33.  I have also added Stickles - Gold as highlights.  The embellishment is a snowflake die-cut from glitter cardstock from DCWV.

I have used some papers from Kaisercraft for this card.  The image is from MelJens Designs Studio and has been coloured with copic markers and then highlighted with both Stickles and Glossy Accents.  I have used both satin ribbon and pearls as embellishments.

I have used papers from a Kaisercraft Christmas paper pad (which is looking very depleted now!).  The image is from From The Heart Stamps and coloured with copic markers YR31, G05, R35, Y06.

My First Ever Step Card

For a first attempt at a Step Card, I am relatively happy with this.  There are a couple of things I would do differently next time though.  Unfortunately, my photography skills with a card like this aren't great - some is in focus but some out of focus!

I have used a paper from Rosie's Studio for the background.  I added a piece of red ribbon from Sugar and Spice Studio to the left hand side of the card.  I have also added some green pearls to the lower right corner.

The image is from LEJ Designs and was the image supplied for the challenge.  It was optional to use it but I thought this really represented fun at Christmas.  I can imagine a cat burrowing under a present....but I wonder if it is!    I coloured the present with copic markers G05, G02, R29, R27 and applied some Stickles - Star Dust to the ribbon to add some glamour.  I have also added Glossy Accents to the eyes.

Non-traditional Christmas Stocking

Doesn't it look so different with a change of colours!

This time I have used papers from Bearly Mine Designs.  The image is from Whoopsi Daisy and is coloured with copic markers.  I used pink metallic paper for matting.  The sentiment comes from Digi Doodles and has been die-cut with a Spellbinder Labels die.  I have added some pink grosgrain ribbon from American Crafts and some lavender coloured pearls.

I rarely seem to manage to join in with the sketch challenges at Bearly Mine Designs.  They always seem to be timed at a point where there isn't enough hours in the day!!  This time, although pretty much last minute on the challenge, I did complete a card!

I have used two papers from a Christmas paper pack by Bearly Mine Designs.  Matting is with silver metallic paper that I bought a few days ago.  The image is Jingle Bells from Di's Digital Downloads.  I have coloured using copic markers in BG, RV and E ranges.  The reindeer embellishment I have had for a while and I gave the embellishment a pink nose and then added some brown pearls around it.
