Sassy Girl

Another lovely image from The East Wind that was a pleasure to work with!

The East Wind - Extra Sassy

I have used a lovely spring themed paper from Nitwit Collections.  The image as I said above is from The East Wind.  I used one of my new dies from Spellbinders to cut out the image and then emboss it.  I added some pretty ribbon from American crafts along with a bow crafted from that ribbon using a Bow Easy.

The Corrosive Challenge - Hop Into Spring
http://corrosivechallengesbyjanet.blogspot.co.nz/2015/03/challenge-221-hop-into-spring.html

I have used a striped paper from Creativ for the background.  I added some ribbon and a bow from the same ribbon.  The image is from Theresa Sherman and has been coloured with copic markers.  I matted with some deep red cardstock from Rosie's Studio.  I die-cut a butterfly from the same deep red cardstock using a memory Box die and then added some Liquid Pearls along the body.

New Zealand Kiwi

As soon as I saw this challenge, I knew what I wanted to create for it.  It took me forever to get round to it though (story of my life at the moment!).

I have printed the New Zealand image on to the base cardstock.  I fussy cut out the kiwi image and layered over the top of the map.  Both images are from Ike's Art and have been coloured with copic markers.  I added some pacifica style embellishments.

Pink Piglet

I pretty much have gone with a monochromatic pink look although there are a couple of other colours in the background paper.

I have used a paper from Rosie's Studio for the background.  The image is from From The Heart Stamps and coloured with copic markers RV10, RV06, RV02.  I hand cut the pennant shape and then inked the edges with Distress Ink - Picked Raspberry.  I added some bakers twine and some pink bling.

Hot Christmas

At least it must be if there are cacti present!  I just love this different take on a Christmas tree.

I have used a paper from a christmas paper pad by Sugar and Spice Studio called "Jolly Santa".  The image is from Doodle Pantry and is coloured with copic markers.  The die used for the image is one from Spellbinders.  I threaded through some satin ribbon and then added a die-cut arrow, some red bling and a red felt tree embellishment to which I added some gold Liquid Pearls.

Flowers for Easter

Sometimes it is nice to give flowers for Easter - rather than chocolate (although I must say I personally would rather have chocolate!)

Sentimental Sundays - Springtime Flowers
http://sentimentalsundays.blogspot.co.nz/2015/03/challenge-252-springtimeflowers.html

I have used a polka dot paper for the background - I think this one is from Kaisercraft.  The image is from Spyders Corner and has been coloured with copic markers.  I added some Stickles to the flower centres too.  The die I have used for the image is one from Spellbinders which I bought on special recently.  The sentiment is from Anji's Antics and I used a Spellbinders Labels die to cut it out.  I have also added some polka dot grosgrain ribbon from American Crafts.

More Spring

I started creating this card for the Eureka Stamps challenge last week but somehow it didn't get completed in time.  So, I was thrilled when the theme was Spring again this week!

Sentimental Sundays - Springtime Flowers
http://sentimentalsundays.blogspot.co.nz/2015/03/challenge-252-springtimeflowers.html

I printed out three spring images from Eureka Stamps in a vertical line and then added a sentiment from Desert Diva to the right.  I coloured the image and sentiment with copic markers.  As a finishing touch I added some spring flowery satin ribbon from American Crafts.
