I haven't had a play with papers from Trimgym for a while but needing matching papers for the sketch, they were perfect!  The image is from Imagine That and coloured with copic markers.  I layered with some cardstock from Rosie's Studio.  I added some pearls, some grosgrain ribbon from American Crafts and a stamped sentiment.

Hello

I felt inspired to create a nature themed card this time inspired by the picture at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.  My colour choice was inspired by the feijoas - particularly as like Kathie I am in New Zealand and am surrounded by feijoas at the moment.  Fortunately, I love them!

I have used some scrapbooking papers that I have had in my stash for a long time.  The image is from Bugaboo Stamps and coloured with copic markers.  I matted with some olive green glitter cardstock from DCWV.  I also used a border strip, some pearls and a pre-made embellishment.

As you can see, I pretty much followed the sketch - just changing the bow for a different embellishment.

The Great Outdoors

I have used the image Bird on my Fairy Toes

I have also used a paper from Kaisercraft for the background.  I used a die from Spellbinders and some green glitter cardstock from DCWV to cut the overlay.  I further embellished this with some Liquid Pearls in the butterfly wings and flower centre.  The image from Sami Stamps has been coloured with copic markers with some Stickles added over the top of the wings and then die-cut using a Spellbinders die.

You Are Berry Sweet

Often when people think of sweet treats they think of chocolate, lollipops, cupcakes and the like but I find fruit such as strawberries equally sweet as a treat!

I have used a tablecloth patterned paper from Rosie's Studio.  I added some offcut pieces of glitter cardstock from DCWV and a strip of washi tape.  The image is from Tiddly Inks and coloured with copic markers.  I also added a pre-cut embellishment.

I have used a baby themed paper from a paper pad by Kaisercraft called "Pitter Patter".  The sentiment tag also comes from this paper pad.  In order to incorporate the tag, I needed to shift the image off centre (which is where i deviated somewhat from the original sketch!).  The image is from Deedee's Digis and is coloured with copic markers RV23, RV21, RV06, RV02 plus I added some Glossy Accents to the balloons.  I matted with some pink cardstock from my offcuts box so I'm not sure of the brand.  I added a velvet shoestring to the tag.  I also used some strips of peel-off stickers.

Vintage Happy Mothers Day

I have tried for a more vintage look for this Mother's Day card.  I used a pre-coloured image for a change too.

I have used a paper from a paper pad by Rosie's studio.  I added some lace and some pearls i coloured with copic marker R22.  The pre-coloured image is from Luna Girl.  I also used a sentiment from Desert Diva.  I used a corner rounder punch on both the image and sentiment.

I have used cardstock inked with Distress Ink - Vintage Photo.  I used a stamped image from Flonzcraft.  I also added some tags, etc from the reverse side of the paper from Graphic 45 and added a chipboard diecut from the same set.  I also used some ric-rac style braid and some Liquid Pearls.
