Happy Birthday to a Golfer

Although I don't play golf, I have a lot of relations who do.

I have used two papers from Trimgym for this card.  The image is from From The Heart Stamps and is coloured with copic markers.  I added a sentiment and some dots around the image using a gold pen that came free with an Adult Colouring Magazine. 

I sort of followed the sketch - but shifted the handwritten sentiment as it wasn't going to be visible over the patterned paper.

Roses are Red

For some reason when I colour roses, this particular line sticks in my head so I colour roses red!  Sometimes, I make a conscious effort to use another colour - this wasn't one of those times!

I have die-cut the card base using a Memory Box die.  I inked the edges with Distress Ink - Fired Brick.  The image and sentiment are from Bugaboo Stamps and I added colour with copic markers.  I also used some red cardstock for matting and three red glitter domes.

I decided to put both concepts together as I had the images to work.

The background paper is from MME.  I used two images from Eureka Stamps for this card - one of showers and one of flowers!  I coloured the images with copic markers and then added Kindy Glitz to the rain drops and the flower centres.  I also added some butterflies flying around.

I usually have to think of alliterations - but this one came easy as the name of the image is an alliteration!

We are half-way through the month of May - which means it is time for some more inspiration from the team at CHNC Extra.  As usual, it is an Anything Christmas challenge - so why not share your makes with us.

I have used an image from Bugaboo Stamps called Candy Cane Charlie.

I also used two papers from a paper pad by Rosie's Studio.  I coloured with copic markers and added some Stickles and Glossy Accents.  I die-cut using a die from Nellie's and then embellished the die-cut with crystal stickers.  I added some clear crystal stickers just outside the die-cut.

Anything Goes at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends

It is time for a new Anything Goes challenge at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends.  For this challenge, we are sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps and Sami Stamps. 

For my make, I used an image from Sami Stamps called Blossoms Girl.

I have also used papers from Michele R Designs.  I added some self-adhesive lace at the top.  The image is coloured with copic markers.  I added a die-cut from Memory Box and some Liquid Pearls.  Matting is cream cardstock.

Just keep swimming

I haven't made an encouragement card for my swimmers for a while - so here is another one.  We are due to start back in the pool again tomorrow so my thoughts are on swimming at the moment.

I have used three papers and the image from the Beach Bum Octopus kit from Little Scraps of Heaven.  I coloured the image with copic markers and then added some Glossy Accents to give him a shiny nose (too much soon!).  I also added a sentiment from Imagine That, some grosgrain ribbon from American Crafts and some shell embellishments.

I have used some scrapbooking papers from my stash.  The images are from Bugaboo Stamps and are coloured with copic markers.  I have also used some letter stickers for the sentiment, some washi tape, some left over paper for the pennants, some gold pearls from Rosie's Studio and some die-cut flowers.
