I'm back to beach themed cards.  All this rain that we are having lately is making me wish summer would hurry up and arrive.

I have used a shell patterned paper from a paper pad by Kaisercraft.  The image is from Imagine That and is coloured with copic markers.  I added a couple of embellishments from an embellishment pack by Rosie's Studio and layered them together.

Butterflies

I have to admit I struggled with the letter K challenge at The Butterfly Challenge.   More timewise than anything else.  I just don't know where the days are disappearing to at the moment.  Here is my completed card showing the outside:

I did managed to incorporate all seven elements of the challenge into the card.

I used kraft card for the basic card shape and followed the tutorial for Kinetic Card 1 from The Butterfly Challenge blog.  The image is from Sheepski Designs and has been coloured using the three colours - Kone, Koni and Key Lime.  I die-cut some mini butterflies using a Memory Box die and added these to the lower right of the greetings panel.  On the front of the card, I tied some knots in some Key Lime coloured twine and added this to the lef hand side with a Key Lime butterfly on the right.

Things With Wings

This fortnight at Incy Wincy Designs, we have a theme of Things With Wings.  We are sponsored by Oddball Art Company.

I have used Fairy Cinda from Oddball Art Company.

I have also used a paper from a paper pad by Rosie's Studio.  The bigger embellishment at the bottom of the card is from an embellishment pack.  I also added some pre-made flowers and a piece of grosgrain ribbon.  I inked the edges of the image with Distress Ink.

Curious Adjustment to life

The first Monday means it is time for the September challenge at Path Of Positivity.  This month, the optional twist is Curiosity.  The challenge is sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps and Scribbles Designs.

I have used an image from Bugaboo Stamps called AKV Cheerleader.

I also used a patterned paper from a paper pad by Kaisercraft.  I added  a piece of ribbon which I embellished with glitter gemstones.  The sentiment is a quote that I found and typed out on the computer.

Reading

I had started this card a couple of days ago and then we had two sunny days in a row so I got distracted a bit!  I finished the card today and just need to get it blogged before going to bed.

Wishing You A Happy Halloween

We are midway through the current challenge at Scribbles Designs.  The theme this month is Include a Sentiment.

I inked the subway art using Distress Inks.  I double matted the sentiment and then raised it above the subway art.  I then added some glitter Halloween embellishments - one ghost and two bats.
