This week at CHNC, our optional theme is "Winter Fun".  This little bird certainly seems to be having some fun:

I have used a digital paper from Bugaboo Stamps.  The image and the sentiment are also from Bugaboo Stamps.  Colouring is with copic markers.  I added a glitter foam snowflake embellishmment.

I went with a non-traditional colour scheme of teal and purple.  I had started with a different colour scheme in mind but couldn't find a paper to match so I decided to go with my second favourite colour combination.

I have used an offcut piece of a patterned paper from a christmas paper pad.  The image is from All Dressed Up and the sentiment is from Bugaboo Stamps.  Colouring is with copic markers.  I also added some teal coloured pearls.

I have used a digital paper from Lozzy.  The image is from Star Stampz and the sentiment is from Desert Diva.  Colouring is with copic markers and the centre of the sentiment is inked with Distress Oxide.  I also added the glittery flourish, some translucent white rose embellishments and two wooden ladybug embellishments.

I am back to using up some of my Awaiting Items boxes.  This card uses three things - paper, image and sentiment.  Little by little the pile is decreasing.

Hello Friend

This month at Card Chain Challenge is something a bit different.  Instead of just having the reveal, we are also having a blog hop.  This was our prompts for May:

We are also revealing our cards, whether they have been received or not. For May, my recipient was fellow New Zealander Dawn.  I opted with sending it more locally as the Post Shops were closed and I only had stamps to send within NZ.

I have used a paper from a paper pad.  I added washi tape at the top and bottom of the card.  The image is from Beccy's Place and the sentiment is from Imagine That Digis.  Colouring is with copic markers.  I added some stickers that I bought from a Japanese "Dollar Store".  There are at least four different ones in Auckland and I can't remember which one I got these from.  I wish I could remember so that I can go back there next time I'm in Auckland and get some more.

I think I followed most of the prompts above and I rotated the sketch.
