 It is a wet dismal day here today so I have spent some of the day crafting while catching up with some things that hadn't got done over the past week.  I'm not caught up yet but I'm getting there.

Let's Squash It - 3 embossing folders and a person

I have used three embossing folders to create the background.  The embossing folders are from Cuttlebug (small flowers at the bottom) and Craft Concepts (Spring Flowers at the top and More Dots in the middle).

I then swiped some Metallic Gilding Polish across the top.  The colour is called Enchanted Gold but to me it is a barely there colour.  The image is from All Dressed Up and the sentiment is one that I had typed on the computer.  I added some pink lacy ribbon and some pink star buttons.

Spring

 Another spring card created on another miserable autumn day.  It has been raining off and on all day today but at least it hasn't been as cold as it was a few days ago.

I have used digital papers from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles and Bearly Mine Designs.  The image is from Pattie's Creations and the sentiment is from Desert Diva.  Colouring is with copic markers.  I also added Glossy Accents to the water in the vase to make it look more realistic.  I added some bakers' twine under the sentiment.

The card has a fold at the top as well as the bottom so will need to be given to someone that hangs their cards up over string (which I do and I know some others that do the same).

May Joy Be Yours This Christmas Season

 April 15th - 12 MoC DT

We are at the midway point of the April Challenge at 12 Months of Christmas.  The theme for this month is Red and Gold and we are sponsored by Taylormade Cards4U

I have also used two digital papers and a sentiment from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles.  I added a brad pushed through some mount tape to act as an anchor for the front panel of the card.

I dug around in my Awaiting Crafting digital paper box to see what papers I had in single colours and came up with this one;

I have used a digital paper (source unknown).  The image is from Di's Digi Downloads and the sentiment is from Desert Diva.  Colouring is with copic markers.  I added some Glossy Accents to the sweet on the sentiment.  I also added some glitter tape and blue star stickers.

For Ewe

We are at the start of the April Challenge at Scribbles Designs.  The theme this month is "Sheep Thrills".  I live in a country where we have more sheep than people, but none of our sheep are as adorable as this one:
