December Journal

 We are at the start of the August Challenge at Path of Positivity.  This month, the optional twist is Celebrate Your Creative Self By Making Something Special For You.

I have myself a Journal for the month of December.  At this stage, I haven't added anything on to the rings as I still need to work on the pages inside the journal.   There will be places to add some photos, receipts, meal plans, etc. - basically anything to do with December 2022.

I have used chipboard to create the front and back covers.  I added some patterned paper from Uniti.  The image is from Beccy's Place and the sentiment is from a paper pad.  I have several bits from the back of paper pads (sentiments, tags, borders, etc) that I am going to try and use in this project.  I added puff sticker letters to spell out DEC.  I also added a foam glitter tree and a 3D embellishment.

I followed a tutorial for a December Daily by Sam Calcott.

Angels We Have Heard On High

I have used a digital paper, image and sentiment from Gecko Galz.  I added some ephemera to the page that is travel themed and also vintage looking to match the age of the train.

 I pulled out both the red and blue from the digital paper for the colour scheme for the image.  I used red matting for both the image and sentiment to add another little touch of red.

I have used a digital paper, image and image/sentiment from Gecko Galz (the sentiment is written on the sails but it is hard to pick up).  I added two plastic embellishments that I re-coloured.  They were orange so I painted them with black gesso and then some acrylic paint.
