I have used a paper from Kaisercraft that I felt related to the junk concept - old and the sort of thing that would be kept for years. My grandmother had a room full of old newspapers in with other items she had kept so that is probably where my brain makes that connection! The offcut piece I used on the right reminded me of old wallpaper that was in my grandmother's house. I used a brown grosgrain ribbon across the join and a collection of small rhinestones that were in my stash.
