A more masculine card this time - and one more suited to the summer temperatures we have at the moment!

I have used 2 digital papers (source unknown) for the background. The image is from Beccy's Place. I used Peelcraft border strips between the pieces of digital paper that I cut to fit the sketch.
Here is the sketch that I followed:
Despite being a follower of the Carlin's Map Paradise blog since almost the start of it, my name isn't showing against my picture (there is also one other whose photo appears that is the same). I tried unfollow and then follow to see if it would fix it. All it did was shift the location of it but the name still doesn't appear when you hover over it. Here is a picture of what appears when I look at the Carlin's Map Paradise blog:
Unless I hear to the contrary, I will try and remember to add this every month when I enter the challenge. I can't think of any other way to prove that I am a follower.
That's a great stamp on your card Suze. Love the colours you have used.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining the Challenge at Carlin's Kaartenparadijs.

Suze, one more question : are you a follower of our Challengeblog ? If not, then you card can not be chosen for a winning card.
DeleteKarin DT Carlin's Kaartenparadijs.
Yes I am.
DeleteI don't see you among our followers Suze?
DeleteAlso through your profile of your blog I cannot find our blog in the blogs that you follow.
Do you want to check this again please.
Sorry, but followers are very important to our group.
Carla DT Carlin's Kaartenparadijs.
I tried to send you an email but it came back as delivered. I have done a screen shot of your blog which shows that I am a follower and inserted in the post above. Do I need to do this every time I enter your challenge?
DeleteWonderful striped background and great take on the sketch! Loving your surfer dude! Too cold to surf here right now and very windy. Maybe in a wet suit but haven't see anyone surfing.
ReplyDeleteA Great card Suze.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining us at Carlin's Kaartenparadijs challenge.
Good Luck !

Definitely one for our temps Suze! I think lots of people are headed to the beach this weekend just to escape the humidity.
ReplyDeleteGreat choice of background paper, it coordinates nicely with the image. Makes me think of the fabric they used for board shorts back in the day. Love it!
Cheers,
Beccy
