It is time for another Bit By the Bug Tuesday. The day where I introduce you all to the newest freebie over at Creative Bug on the Loose. This week we have...

"Birthday Baking Lessons""

Nathan has been experimenting in the kitchen again. To find out what adventures he has gotten himself into this time, you will just have to head on over to Creative Bug on the Loose to find out!

I have used another paper from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles for the background of this card. The tag is a pre-made tag which I distressed a bit. The sentiment is from Bluebird Flats. The image is this week's freebie from Creative Bug on the Loose and can be found by clicking the button below. The pearls are some from my stash.

So, what are you waiting for? To take advantage of this cute image, head on over to Creative Bug on the Loose and follow the instructions on how to bring Nathan home with you. While you are over there, don't forget to check out all the great digis Naomi has available in the store for purchase and don't forget to leave her a little love too.

I've caught the bug,

http://glitternsparklechallengeblog.blogspot.co.nz/2013/06/challenge-37.html

Here is the lovely sketch that the card is based upon:

I have used a paper from MME for the background of this card.  Although it looks like I've used two DP it is in fact the reverse of the main piece!  I have added some organza ribbon to the base as well.  The embellishment is a white feather coloured with copic marker R05.

The image is the rooster for The Outlawz CFC Challenge (link above) created by Sandi Huggett.  I have coloured the rooster using Y02, YR02, YR00, R35, R32.  I also added three pink pearls to the card as embellishments.

You Rock

I'm starting to create a few more masculine cards now:

Birdie Brown - Rockin' Doggie
http://birdiebrown.blogspot.jp/2013/06/june-freebies-challenge.html

I have used a paper from a matstack by DCWV called Rockstar.  The image and sentiment are from Birdie Brown (link above) and are part of the June challenge.  The image and sentiment are coloured with copic markers YG23, YG11, G14, Y000, E18, E15, E25, E21.  I mounted the sentiment at an angle over the image.  The image has been cut with a Spellbinders Labels die.

Home is where the heart is

A fairly general card featuring a home - could be used for housewarming as well as a masculine occasion - birthday, father's day, etc.

I am entering the card into the following challenges:
PINspirational Challenge - Photo Inspiration
http://pinspirationalchallenges.blogspot.co.nz/2013/06/pinspirational-challenge-61.html
Chocolate Coffee and Cards Challenge - BINGO
http://chocolatecoffeecards.blogspot.co.nz/2013/06/challenge-41-bingo-and-dt-call.html
Glitter n Sparkle - 3 of something (pearls)
http://glitternsparklechallengeblog.blogspot.co.nz/2013/06/challenge-37.html
Robyn's Fetish - Tags
http://robynsfetishchallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/challenge-164-tags-6162013.html

The second challenge is one I hadn't come across before so I thought I would join in this time and I quite enjoy the BINGO challenges so this one is perfect.

I used a background paper from MME that kind of looks like weathered timber from a house - perfect for this image.  The image is from Kenny K and has been coloured with my copic markers.  The house looked to be sitting in the middle of nowhere so I have added a bit of "grounding" to it.  The tag is from a pack that I bought yesterday from the dollar store.  I added my glitter and ribbon in one - with some glittery ribbon.  I added a strip to the tag to glam it up a bit and also another strip as the base for three brown pearls.

Chillin' at the beach

I wish we had the weather to be chillin' at the beach - chilled at the beach would be more like it today!

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Pikes Playground - Square Card
http://dustinpike.blogspot.co.nz/2013/06/youre-such-square-challenge.html
Papertake Weekly Challenge - Hello Boys
http://papertakeweekly.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/hello-boys.html
Penny's Paper Challenge - 1 Image, 2 DP, 3 Embellishments
http://pennyschallenges.blogspot.co.nz/2013/06/pennys-challenge-131.html
Totally Papercrafts - Feeling Blue
http://totallypapercrafts.blogspot.co.nz/2013/06/challenge-171-feelin-blue.html

I have used some blue cardstock for the layering.  The  two DP are different shades of blue - one with irregular dots and the other is evenly space dots.  The image is from Doodle Dragon Studios and has been coloured with copic markers and then die-cut using a Nellie's Multi Frame die.  The embellishments are three large rhinestones.

Seaside Bucket

I don't usually use the same image for the two challenges at Delightful Inspirations {from the heart} but this time I have - I hope that is okay.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Delightful Inspirations - From the Heart Sketch 022
http://designed2delight.com/blog/2013/06/i-heart-sketch022/
Delightful Inspirations - Progressive Challenge
http://designed2delight.com/blog/2013/06/june-free-stamp-of-the-month-challenge/
Glitter n Sparkle - 3 of something (pearls)
http://glitternsparklechallengeblog.blogspot.co.nz/2013/06/challenge-37.html

I used an orange card blank this time.  The embossed panel is an embossing folder called "Drink Me".  The image is from Delightful Inspirations {from the Heart} and has been coloured using copic markers, die-cut with a scallop square die from Spellbinders then inked round the edges with Distress Ink - Spiced Marmalade.  I have added three small pearls as I felt it needed something else since I hadn't used a DP this time.
