A box to make me happy

This box was a collaborative effort between my teenage daughter and myself.  She doesn't normally do papercraft but we are away from home having a well earned break and doing alot more stuff together than we usually do.  We were listening to the radio yesterday when the song "Happy" came on and she asked me if I knew it.  When I said that I was working on a project inspired by the song she wanted to help.  Here is what we came up with:

We are entering the project into these challenges:
A Song in your {HE}art - Happy

Eureka Stamps - Lace and Pearls

CRAFT Challenge - Not A Card

Brenda created the box template for our project.  We chose some papers from Kaisercraft for the inside and the lid.  These papers have a sewing theme to them.  We bought some lace yesterday - colours I didn't have back home.  This one was yellow which was too bright for the vintage effect we were trying to create so we coloured it with a copic marker.  The image is from Eureka Stamps and has also been coloured with copic markers.  We added a ribbon flower with pearl centre to the side of the box - also coloured with copic markers.

The inspiration for the box comes from things that make Brenda and I happy - sewing and crafting, flowers and vintage.
