I belong to a NZ Card Swap Group. Each month we have a different challenge. With our card for the June challenge we had to include some "bits" from our "maybe I'll get around to using this someday" box. This is what I received to work with:
For the July challenge, we had to use at least 3 of those bits on the front of our card. After much thinking about it and running some ideas past another member of the group, I came up with this:
And with the tag, pulled out:
As you can see from the top photo, I had quite large bits to work with. I added some background paper to co-ordinate with the circular piece I also added a pocket on the front of the card to give me a bit more space to add the third element. I stencilled one of the pieces using a Tim Holtz stencil and some glimmer paste. I added this over the pocket and then trimmed off the excess. The circle fitted perfectly on top of that piece. I then punched a hole in the oval piece, added an eyelet, twine and a sentiment.
I still have three pieces left over so may come up with something using them at some point.
I would like to enter:

I like the result of the three pieces you have used here on this card and look forward to seeing what you come up with using the butterfly cut out. Hugs Mrs A.
