I have followed a sketch for this card and decided to keep a white background:

I have used an offcut piece of patterned paper for the left hand piece.  I matted with beige cardstock.  The image is from Eureka Stamps and matted with silver metallic cardstock.  Colouring is with copic markers.  I also added some thick twine and two kitties die-cut from silver metallic cardstock using dies from Poppy Stamps.

I followed the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches but changed the square image to a circle.
