April Showers

Decided to try a patchwork layout this time!

This card is for the following challenges:
CDAC - Progressive Challenge

Outlawz Challenge - Copic markers - April Showers

QKR Stampede - April Showers

The card uses background papers from a set called I'm yours by Harper Finch.  I have based the design around the octagon die-cut.  The image that I have used is a challenge one from CDAC and comes from Nana Vic Digitals.  The sentiment that I have used comes from Daizeefli and was just perfect for the temperature of April showers in NZ!  The "stitching" on the patchwork is Peelcraft border stickers.  The image is coloured in primary and secondary colours using copic markers and the final secondary colour appears in the rhinestones on the umbrella!

  2. Awesome patchwork card, great way to use up some scrap pieces we all have in our stash. The stickers really highlight the colors. Thank you for entering the CDAC Progressive Challenge.

  3. Suze, Love the way you did the patchwork on this card and the umbrella is so cheerfully colored! Thanks for the nice comments lately. A while back I left you an award on my blog but you never picked it up. You're still entitled to it. So if you visit my blog and look for the post that says Leibster Award, You can pick yours up. 5. What a fabulous way to use up all the little pieces of scrap paper that we all seem to have, by creating your patchwork background. Adding the gold chain to imitate the stitching between the colours looks great. The umbrella is so bright and cheerful and the rhinestones are a perfect finishing touch. Thank you Suze for joining us at
