Red, Golden and Grey colour scheme for this stitched doll:
The card is for the following challenges:
Tiddly Inks - Distress, Emboss or Stitch (I chose stitching)

Glitter n Sparkle - Stitching real or not

I had also intended it for the following challenge:
The Outlawz - Colour Challenge

but... it matches the colour scheme but didn't realise until I went to upload it that I had missed out the twist. Couldn't see how I was going to work this into a masculine card!!! Just goes to show that when you are unwell, you need to make a better effort to read the instructions. Back to the doctor again tomorrow as the antibiotics didn't work - just hope she can find something that does.
I have used a background paper from MME that had the red and the grey in it. The ribbons are representative of each colour. The flower parts also all represent the three colours. The image is from Tiddly Inks. The golden in the image wasn't quite working - I started with YR02 but it was too orange so added some Y38 over the top. It is still a bit more orange than I'd like but better than it was.
so sweet suze! love the colours and papers on this one :) thanks so much for playing at tiddlyinks this week! :D
