Lifting a card

This isn't something I have done much of - but I couldn't resist the challenge at Deedee's Digis!  The original card is by Carol:

I have used a paper from a Christmas paper pad for the background.  I embossed some white cardstock using an embossing folder called "Tuscan Tiles" which looks more like snowflakes to me!  The image and sentiment are from Deedee's Digis.  I matted with some glitter cardstock from DCWV and added satin ribbon from American Crafts.
