Stripes and Fabric

I usually take ages thinking about and planning a card.  This one was different - I knew what I wanted to do when I saw the image:

I am entering my card into these challenges:
Sentimental Sundays - Make it fabric (felt)

The Corrosive Challenge Blog - Anything Goes

Sami Stamps - Add stripes

Bearly Mine Challenge - One For The Boys

I have used a striped paper from Bearly Mine Designs for this card.  The same paper has been used for the paper piecing of the boy's top.  The image is from Sami Stamps and has been coloured with copic markers E00, E43, E41, W3, W0, B93.   I added some doodling around the edge of the image and sentiment with Distress Marker - Walnut Stain.  I die-cut a piece of brown felt for a bit of extra dimension.  The sentiment I have used is from Michelle Perkett.

  1. Very Sweet card Suze! =) The stripe pattern duplicated on the shirt and background is very nice.
