Happy Christmas

I was a bit tight to the closing of the challenge at Creative Knockouts but I only decided to make this card today.  I've had a day where I haven't felt like doing much although did manage to mop the floors

I would like to enter:

Creative Knockouts - Recipe
http://creativeknockouts.blogspot.com/2021/06/404-recipe-leanns-world-101.html

I have used two digital papers (not sure of the sources of either of them as they are from my Awaiting Crafting Box).  The image is from Le'Ann's World and the sentiment is from GTC Crafty Corner.  Colouring is with copic markers.  I added some washi tape to cover the join between the papers.  I also added three embellishments from an ephemera pack.

Back to Christmas cards - and back to cooler spring temperatures too.  The sun was nice while it lasted but the last few days have been cold and wet again.  Roll on summer....!

Happy Everything!

Happy Christmas with a mailbox and snowflakes!  I found a few challenges sponsored by Delicious Doodles and decided to try and combine them.  This is the result:

I have used a Christmas paper from MME for the background.  The image is from Delicious Doodles and coloured with copic markers.  I die-cut some snowflakes from glitter cardstock using a Spellbinders die and embellished the centres with bling.  I added a sentiment from GTC Crafty die-cut into a circle.

And the inspiration from Just Inspirational Challenge is this:

The background paper comes from a paper pack by Rosies Studio.  The image is from May Brit.  I have coloured the image using copic markers and kindy glitz.  The die is from Spellbinders.  I have embossed the die and then added Distress Ink to the beads using a Tim Holtz Blending Tool.  The Beary Christmas sentiment comes from GTC Crafty Corner.  The music clef die is a Memory Box one.  Both the matting and music clef are cut from glitter cardstock by DCWV.

My favourite sketch

Rather than picking a favourite sketch for this challenge, I decided to pick my favourite of the earlier ones in the year before I started doing these challenges.

Details of the challenge can be found here:
http://christmaschallenges.blogspot.co.nz/2012/12/challenge-55-special-one.html
There is also a link to the 2012 sketches.

The sketch that I have used is Number 23.

For my card, I have used some background paper from Bearly Mine Designs plus a scrap of blue paper (not sure where that one is from).  The image is from LEJ Designs and is called Unhappy Angel.  The sentiment is from GTC Crafty Corner.  I have used some blue glitter tape from American Crafts to add a bit of shimmer and also some snowflakes cut from a Spellbinders Die and then embellished with pearls.

Crimbo Crackers - Challenge 13

This latest challenge had a theme of festive food.  I found this wonderful stamp and matching paper to use.  I brought through the curvature of the icing into the scallop circle and the ric rac braid.  I also included rhinestones to reflect the holly berries.

Materials that I used for this challenge were:
GTC Crafty Corner - Christmas Pudding stamp
GTC Crafty Corner - Christmas Paper
Red ric rac braid
Scrapbook paper
Spellbinders dies - circles and rectangles
Red rhinestones

The link for this challenge is:

I look forward to seeing what they have in store for us with the next challenge!
