With Sympathy

I can't seem to get ahead of myself with Sympathy cards.  This one is for a relative of my husband.  She had been unwell for a number of years.  It is a relatively large family and only a few will be able to go to the funeral.

Happy Anniversary

I started trying to reduce my pre-printed items at the beginning of the year.  I had a box of images, another smaller box of sentiments and a box of digital papers.  With our country going in to lockdown at midnight tonight, I need to conserve my printer ink so that it lasts at least four weeks.  I can't go out before the shops shut as I am unwell (not with the virus thank goodness).
So, this card uses a sentiment and two scrap pieces of digital paper to help me conserve my remaining ink.

Happy Anniversary

I am really good at forgetting to make anniversary cards, so this year I'm getting in ahead of time!

This card is for the challenges at:
Digital Tuesday - Anniverary + buttons and/or bling
http://digitaltuesdaychallenge.blogspot.se/2013/03/our-200th-challenge-and-blog-hop.html

The card uses a background paper from MME.  I'm not sure whose the digi is so if anyone can help there it would be appreciated!  I printed it out because I liked it and then promptly forgot whose it was!  The sentiment is one from Sugar Paw Scraps which I trimmer cut and then distressed the edges with Distress Ink - Spiced Marmalade.  The colouring on the image is done with copic markers YR07, G17 and G14.  I have added a button and some bling for embellishment.

Back to School with Meljens Designs

Another Back to School challenge.  This one is at Meljens Designs:
http://meljensdesignsdt.blogspot.co.nz/2012/09/challenge-126-back-to-school.html

I have made a card that doesn't use an image that looks like a school image - no apples, backpacks, etc.

However, the star on the turtle's back made me think "You're a star" which was my starting point for this card.  In searching for a particular image for another card I was working on, I found these puzzle pieces that I had from Digi Ditto.  They were just perfect for adding some ABC stickers!

The image comes from Meljens Designs and is called Turtle's Little Star.  I have coloured this using three shades of blue copic markers and then circle die cut using Spellbinders.  The matting is blue cardstock.

The background paper is from Trimgym Digital Stamps and the sentiment from Sugar Paw Scraps.  I have added some little blue rhinestones to the right hand corners.
