Christmas Cat

When I visited my brother just before Christmas last year, he had two new kittens who were constantly playing with the Christmas tree.  As soon as I saw this image, it reminded me of those two Ragdoll kittens.

The card uses three papers from a paper pad by MME.  The swirl is the last one left in the pack - the poor forgotten one!    The image is from Digi Darla and is called Cat Christmas.  I have used copic markers to colour the cat - R59, R27, E35, YG11, G000 and R02.  I also added some crystallina Kindy Glitz to the hat.

I have used a couple of papers from a paper pad by MME called Moments.  The image is Abby Umbrella from Bugaboo Stamps.  I have coloured Abby using copic markers BV17, B18, B29, B24, B05, B00, B000, E35, E000.  The sentiment is from Paper Dreams of Mine.

The buttons are some from my stash.  The die-cut is a Marianne's Designs one which always seems to cut nicely - some of the doily type ones are hard to cut but this one works well nearly every time.  I also used some blue cardstock to matt the layers.

The card uses a background and matting papers from a paper pad by Kaisercraft.  The image is from Digi Stamps 4 Joy.  I have coloured the image using copic markers - R59, E35, G17,G14, R27 and W3.

I have added some cream pearls as embellishments.

but... it matches the colour scheme but didn't realise until I went to upload it that I had missed out the twist.  Couldn't see how I was going to work this into a masculine card!!!  Just goes to show that when you are unwell, you need to make a better effort to read the instructions.  Back to the doctor again tomorrow as the antibiotics didn't work - just hope she can find something that does.

I have used a background paper from MME that had the red and the grey in it.  The ribbons are representative of each colour.  The flower parts also all represent the three colours.   The image is from Tiddly Inks. The golden in the image wasn't quite working - I started with YR02 but it was too orange so added some Y38 over the top.  It is still a bit more orange than I'd like but better than it was.

The image and sentiment are from The Graphics Fairy.   The tag is a Sizzix die which I have cut from Kraft and then edged with Distress Ink - Vintage Photo.  The stamp on the tag is an acrylic stamp from Hot Off the Press.  The background paper comes from a christmas paper pad by MME.

I again used the out of the box technique that I learnt from the Incy Wincy Challenge.  The easel template is from www.mariestamps.com.  The stripey paper is from Spyder's Corner and just had the right rainbow feel that I wanted.  The image is My Fair Lady from Sassy Studio Designs.  I used copic markers in the colours of the rainbow for my colouring of this image.  The heart die-cut is from Marianne's Designs and the swirl die cut is from Memory Box.  I have used glitter cardstock from DCWV to cut both die-cuts.  The stopper for the easel card is a large gemstone surrounded by some red roses.

I have made a feature of the image for the CDAC Progressive Challenge.  The image was supplied by Nana Vic.  The background papers are both from a paper pad by MME.  The sentiment is also from Nana Vic.  I crafted the flower myself from orange scrap paper using a Marianne's Designs die.  I then scattered some rhinestones across the top of the card.
