Lacy Embossed card

Reading is something that is relatively strong in my family.  I have always loved to read but struggle now to read for long because of my eyesight.  However, both of my teenagers can often be found reading a book.  This image was just wonderful to work with.

I have used an embossing folder called Drink Me from Couture Creations together with some textured cardstock from DCWV to create the background for this card.  I have combined some lace and ribbon together.  The button added is one from my Mum's button box.  It had a shank on the back of it which my Dad removed for me so it would sit flat.  The image is the one supplied for the challenge at A Day for Daisies and can be found by following the link above.  The copic markers that I have used are YR02, YR00, YR31, E00, E11,Y00.

The image is from Priscilla Styles and is one of two images for the progressive challenge at Lady Anne's.  By completing each challenge, I receive two images for the next challenge.  It's fun and it is challenging.  For this image, I chose to do more of a layered card.  The background paper is from Décosse's Dyamite Doodles and is a paper I keep coming back to.  I just really love the 3D appearance of this paper.  The image is coloured with copic markers - the boots have just been outlined so as to keep the colour soft.  I added three tiny pearls to diagonal corners of the image.  Matting is done with metallic paper.

The card uses some background papers from my stash together with some metallic paper.  I have used glitter tape, a die-cut snowflake and some bright pink pearls.  The image is from Little Scraps of Heaven.

The paper that I have used this time comes from a Glitz paper pad.  The matting is with orange paper.  The image is the one provided for the progressive challenge at Imagine That.  I have also added a flower created using the orange paper, a die from Marianne's Creatables, some stickles and a pearl.  I also added some stickles to the rose.

A sweet girl with a present - this card could be used for several different occasions so I've left off any sentiment.  Will add a sentiment to the inside when I decide what occasion I'm using it for.

I have used a left over piece of paper for the background of this card.  I have used a die-cut ribbon holder which I think may be a Marianne's Designs die but I'm not totally sure.  The image is from Nutcrafters and has been coloured with copic markers.  I have some pale pink pearls as embellishments.  The join between the paper and the card base I have embellished with some stickles - a green one and Cotton Candy.

I have used some movie themed paper from Create with TLC.  The film strip is a Sizzix die-cut.  The image comes from Tiddly Inks and has been coloured with copic markers W5, W3, W1, G000, RV10 and G14.  The matting and film strip are black cardstock.

For this card, I have used a background paper from DCWV from a matstack called Lemon Flowers.  The matting and flowers are from metallic paper.  The image is from Digi Stamps 4 Joy and has been coloured with copic markers RV06, RV04, RV000, G17, G14, W3, W1.   The flowers have been die-cut using a Marianne's Creatables Die set and embellished with green pearls.
