One of our bookstores has started using paper bags for purchases.  I don't like to throw them out so I had saved the ones I have got.  I used a paper from Bugaboo Stamps to cover over the bookstore logo.  Then I added an image from Bugaboo Stamps which I coloured with Inktense pencils.  I die-cut some snowflakes using dies from Sissix plus a larger one which may be from Spellbinders but I can't find the packet for that one.

Elf Antics - Day Three

I found another of the elves:

This one is apparently called Jassin.  Naughty is probably a better  name for it though!

I'll update further tomorrow on what I discovered with this elf!

Magical Delights

This month's colour theme at Path Of Positivity is Metallics.  That can be gold, silver, or other metallic shades. The sponsor for the month of December is Sparkle n Sprnkle.

I hve used two images an a sentiment from a set from Sparkle n Sprinkle called A Peppermint Christmas

I also used some silver metallic cardstock for the base.  The card is cut using a template.  I added some silver pearls alongside the sentiment and one to the top of the frame around the image.  I also added some silver Nuvo Mousse around the edge of the image.

It's Time To Raise The Hoof - Day One

We are up to Day Three of the Raise The Hoof celebration at Scribbles Designs.  Our third release is Prancer

As well as using Prancer from Scribbles Designs, I have used digital paper from Scribbles Doodles Designs as well as a sentiment from Scribbles Designs.  I used a template to create a step card.  Colouring is with copic markers.  Prancer is also trying to catch a snowflake - a glitter foam snowflake embellishment.

Thank You

I spent most of November working on Christmas cards inspired by the challenge at Beccy's Place.  This week I have been creating more Christmas cards using the prompts at Catch The Bug.  So, this card is something non-Christmas to give myself a break from all those Christmas makes!

The challenge at Crafty Gals Corner is being sponsored by Scribbles Designs.  As I am on the Design Team for Scribbles Designs, I thought this was a great opportunity to use two images and a sentiment that I own:
Sunflowers 1
Acorn
Thank You From Words 1

I also used a paper from a paper pad by Kaisercraft.  I added some wooden autumn leaf embellishments too.

'Tis the Season for Awkward Holiday Chaos - Day 2

The prompt for the second day of the week long challenge at Catch The Bug is a Sketch:

I found three matching Bugaboo images and a Bugaboo sentiment that work well together for the sketch:

I also used a paper from a christmas paper pad by Kaisercraft.  Colouring is with copic markers, Wink Of Stella and Kindy Glitz.  I also used some vintage ribbon across the card behind the images.

Make Your Own Background

The challenge at Incy Wincy Designs this fortnight is to create your own background.  The challenge is sponsored by A Day For Daisies.

I recently went to a craft fair and one of the make n takes was creating a background using Distress Oxides.  It was so fun to do I decided that I would use that same technique again.

The image that I have used comes from A Day For Daisies.

I have used three colours of Distress Oxides onto plastic and sprayed with water.  I then put white cardstock on to the plastic, turned it upside down an smooshed it around with my fingers.  Each one comes out so different.  I matted it onto gold before attaching to the card.  I added some pink ribbon across the card under the image.  The image has been coloured with copic markers and Wink Of Stella.  I inked around the edge of the image with a gold coloured copic marker.
