Little Mermaid

I haven't done much crafting today as my cold is bothering me.  I did however, find some time to make this one:

I have used a piece of background paper that I have had in my stash for a couple of years.  I bought a pack of mixed cardstock and papers that I still haven't finished using.  The two pieces on the left have been made with shaving cream and Distress Ink Refills.    The image is from Gecko Galz.

I have used a digital paper from Trimgym for the main background and then layered on a digital paper from Lozzy.  The image is from Oddball Art Company and the sentiment is from Desert Diva.  Colouring is with copic markers.  I added a pre-made butterfly to the layered piece of digital paper.

I have used some smaller pieces of digital paper from Trimgym which I put together patchwork style.  The image and sentiment are both from QKR Stampede.  Colouring is with copic markers.  I added some washi tape,  a flower and an enamel dot to complete the card.

Rose Garden

I made another canvas today.  I found these roses when I was tidying up but they are far too large for a card so when I saw the theme at Gecko Galz I just had to use them for that.

I have used a patterned serviette as the base for my canvas.  I stamped a few clear stamps randomly on the serviette.  I matted the image and then added it to the canvas.  I  used Metallic Gilding Wax to colour the chipboard leaves and Gilding Polish to colour the butterfly.  I added some clear translucent beads along the right of the image.  I also added the roses that I found when tidying.

A Birthday Wish

I printed out a few images at the start of the daily challenges at Gecko Galz.  That was before we went in to lockdown and I realised that what ink was in the printer is going to have to last until we come out of lockdown.  So to conserve ink, I have used one of those images today.

I have used strips of offcut digital papers from Lozzy and Scribble and Scrap.  There are actually 5 pieces vertically - 3 of the Lozzy one and 2 from Scribble and Scrap - but I ended up covering over some of them.  The image is from Gecko Galz and the sentiment is from Desert Diva.  Colouring is with copic markers and Wink Of Stella.  I also added a pre-made butterfly embellishment.

I can't stop the downpour

It is the first Monday in April already - a third of the year has already passed.  It is time for the next Anything Goes Challenge at Lil Patch Of Crafty Friends.  This time our sponsor is Pattie's Creations.

I have used an image from Pattie's Creations called Duckie With Rain Boots.

I also used a doily from my stash which I coloured using Dylusions Spray.  Colouring of the image is with copic markers and Wink Of Stella.  The sentiment is from Create with TLC.  Matting is blue cardstock.  I also added some glitter gems in two different colours.
