Candy Cane Elf

We are midway through the month of October - and midway through the challenge at CHNC Extra for October.  Closer and closer to Christmas!  I have used an image from our sponsor, Bugaboo Stamps, called Elf Candy Cane.

I have also used a paper from a Christmas paper pad from Rosie's Studio along with two smaller pieces from a christmas paper pads by Kaisercraft.  Matting is red cardstock from American Crafts.

All Is Calm

I tried out creating a background with a wet wipe.  I was following a tutorial but didn't like how the background was turning out - so ended up starting again and doing my own thing!  Much more pleased with the result of my second attempt!

I used wet wipes and Distress Ink to create the background.  I used an acrylic stamp and Distress ink Peeled Paint to overstamp the basic background.  The image is from Digi Stamps 4 Joy and is coloured with copic markers.  I matted with some red cardstock and added some baker's twine and some glitter domes.

I have used a paper and sentiment from a paper pad by Kaisercraft.  The image is from Di's Digi Downloads and has been coloured with copic markers and Kindy Glitz.  I used some silver metallic paper for matting.  I also used some white lace from Sullivans and some small turquoise pearls.

Snow Time

Despite it being springtime here, it is feeling more like snow temperatures - and it is raining again!

I have used a paper from a paper pad by Craft Smith.  I added some ribbon from American Crafts and some enamel dots.  The image is from Beccy's Place and coloured with copic markers before matting with some silver metallic paper.

May Your Days Be Merry and Bright

This is an image that I have had printed out for some time and not got around to colouring up.  It was fun to use a non-traditional colour scheme for it too.

I have had this autumn themed 3D sticker a while but it never quite worked for anything I was working on!  This time, it was perfect.

I have used a paper from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles.  The mage is from QKR Stampede. Colouring is with copic markers.  I also used a 3D sticker embellishment and an acorn embellishment.  Matting is with red cardstock.

Lots of Layers

I like the elegance of this image - so decided to go with lots of elegant layers.
