I have gone with a very neutral background and left all the colour to the image:

I have used a black and white snowflake paper by MME for the background. Matting is silver cardstock. I have added a silver satin ribbon with snowflakes on it. The image is from Eiglas and has been coloured with copic markers and then 'stitched' using a Distress Marker - walnut stain.

A lovely card leaving the background fairly plain does make the image pop
ReplyDeleteI think the neutral background was a great choice here. The (faux) stitching is a nice detail. I love the layout you chose for this card. Overall a pretty awesome card! Thank you for joining us at {PIN}spirational Challenges this week. I hope to see you there again very soon :D
