Mother

I'm glad to see the back of February this year.  It has not been a good one at all.  My father unexpected passed away after suffering a severe stroke.  He hadn't been unwell so it has been quite a shock to our family.  I've also had a few issues with work this month that I could have done without.  I'm hoping that March will sort those out!

I would like to enter my card into these challenges:
The Outlawz Progressive Freebie Challenge - February
http://outlawzchallenges.ning.com/group/freebie-progressive-challenge/forum/topics/progressive-freebie-challenge-february-2018
Beccy's Place - February Challenge
http://beccysplace.blogspot.co.nz/2018/02/february-challenge.html

I have used a paper from a paper pad by Kate Knight.  The image and sentiment are from Beccy's Place. Colouring is with copic markers.  I also added some green glitter mesh ribbon and some green pearls from Rosie's Studio.

I had intended to follow the sketch at Beccy's Place for this card - but it came down to getting it completed before the challenge closed and before I need to go to bed as I need to be up really early in the morning for work.

NOEL

This week's optional challenge at CHNC is to use some gold.  I used a lot of gold to create a monochromatic card as I had quite a bit of gold elements to choose from.

I followed the sketch at Stella Says Sketch.
