I'm on the final straight with my Craft Roulette card this week. I had no internet for most of the weekend so I only created by card late last night and had to wait until the light was better this morning to photograph it.
and this was the parameters that were spun this week:
I have two squares on my project - the image and the sentiment
I used the nest colours of brown plus a black, red and yellow bird in the nest. The nest is surrounded by green leaves.
The penguin with the star is using another penguin as a ladder to reach the top of the tree
The cat is watching the star going on the tree and is jumping for joy.
The image is from A Random Fan. The sentiment and cat image are from paper pads. Colouring is with Reno Art Markers.
I finally got around to writing the post for the card which I created during Saturday's Craft Roulette episode.

I went a bit out of the box for the globe - Santa is flying over the globe to deliver the presents. While he is flying, he sent a postcard out to the girl who is sitting on a giant bauble with abstract blobs all over it. I used different flower colours for the florist colors.

Throughout November, Rach and Bella Crafts had a 2023 Christmas Craft-Off Collaboration. I haven't watched many of the videos (I've watched two), but this one appealed to me. I have only started it today and still have 22 of the tags to finish. I wanted to document today's efforts though.
The idea is that it is an advent calendar with a twist. At the end of each day in December, you remove the tag for that day and write on the back what you are grateful for that day.
This is the first three showing three of the shapes. There are also circle and heart ones but I don't have any of those completed yet.
I followed this video by WW Designs and used papers from Antonio Makes
The pegs on the tags are temporary - I have different packs of six (that don't match) so I need to go to the shops to get enough matching ones. I doubt whether I'll find ones to match these ones as I have had them for a long time.

The twist for the December Challenge at Beccy's Place is Fun Fold or Fancy Fold. I haven't created this one using Beccy's images and it is a nice easy one when I was trying to get a lot accomplished today.
It is currently past the time I usually wind down and go to bed but the air temperature is still quite hot. I haven't had the AC on as much today while I was trying to get things done. It only runs for 6 minutes before it needs human intervention to get it going again. The priority next week will be to see what I can get done about it.

I printed out all the images for the December Challenges at Gecko Galz as soon as they appeared and worked on them today. Earlier, I went on the blog and discovered that this image for the Steampunk Challenge plus the one for the Gothic Challenge had been changed. My aim was to get as many December Challenges completed or well on the way to completion by the end of the day but it isn't too be (I am also waiting for another image from a Progressive Challenge so I am not going to be anywhere near where I had hoped to be.

I have used a digital paper, image and sentiment from Gecko Galz. I added some vellum ephemera which worked well with the image.
Sadly this month is the final challenge at Ching-Chou Kuik due to lack of patronage I believe. This is my 9th participation this year and there was no challenge in January so 9 out of 11 is fairly good. I'm glad I managed to join in for most of the challenges, particularly with my eyesight issues this year. My eyes still aren't 100% but my reading and computer time isn't anywhere near as restricted as it was.

I had a bit of time to play with some of the scraps yesterday while I was waiting for a race to start.
