 I had overlooked posting this earlier in the month, but as the challenge is still ongoing, it can serve as a reminder post.

I have used a digital paper from PixelScrapper.  The images are (from top to bottom) by Digi Darla , Lacy Sunshine (now called The Colour of Love) and Delicious Doodles.  Colouring is with copic markers.  I also added some text stamping.

Wear A Little Poppy

We are at the start of the May Challenge at Jan's Digi Stamps.  Recently (April 25th), we had ANZAC Day so that was on my mind as I created this card.

I have used a set from Jan's Digi Stamps called Patriotic Poppies.

Have A Fairy Merry Christmas

This week at CHNC, the optional twist is Include A Snowflake or Two or More.  I have snowflakes on the digital paper, in the image and also as embellishments.

I have used a digital paper from Bearly Mine Designs.  The image is from Delicious Doodles and the sentiment is a clear stamp (not sure of the brand).  Colouring is with copic markers.  I also added some lace and three glitter foam snowflakes.

Happy Holidays

 We are at the reveal of the cards sent during December for Card Chain Challenge.  I sent my card to Gundi in Germany.

This time we had a Tic Tac Toe:

I followed the left hand column.  I originally started following a different line so I also have fancy fold.

I used paper from a paper pad that I have had for many years which I only tend to pull out when I create fancy fold cards as the pad is 12 x 12 and usually not close at hand.  The gold is glitter cardstock.  The image is from Delicious Doodles and the sentiment is from Create with TLC.  I added brads to the centres of the snowflakes in the image.

Get Well Soon

Another image and sentiment from my Awaiting Crafting boxes.  I can see that I have made a lot of progress on reducing them recently but still have a ways to go yet.

I have used a digital paper from Delicious Doodles.   The image is from Beary Wishes and the sentiment is from Bugaboo Stamps.  Colouring is with copic markers and Kindy Glitz.

I added some red organza ribbon and also tied a bow with the same ribbon.  I had a few issues tying the bow as I hadn't used the bow maker tool for some time and couldn't remember how to make the bow.  After several failed attempts, I eventually trawled through all the tutorials on the internet until I found one using the same tool that I have. I've now bookmarked that tutorial so I don't have as much trouble finding it next time I need it.

Gatefold Window Card

We have had a bit of mixed weather lately, so I have had a bit of time to craft.  I'm particularly enjoying the challenge of incorporating all the elements in the Butterfly Challenge.  This month it was the letter G.

I have once again managed to use all seven elements.   I have the green apple gingham paper on the inside and outside of the card.  The gems and butterfly are both on the outside of the gatefold card.  Although there is also a butterfly in the image that I used.  The card base is gun metal cardstock and the flowers in the image as well as the butterfly embellishment are gold.  The image is from Delicious Doodles.  Colouring is with copic markers.

Guest Designer at Sweet Sketch Wednesday

This fortnight I am honoured to be the Guest Designer for the challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.  For this challenge, the sponsor is Delicious Doodles.

The sketch for this challenge is this one:

I used an image from Delicious Doodles called Foxglove and Butterfly.

I used a paper from a paper pad.  I added a butterfly patterned offcut piece of paper which I think came from a paper pad by Kaisercraft.  Colouring is with copic markers.  I also added a sentiment from a different paper pad by Kaisercraft as well as some satin ribbon tied in a bow.

Warm Winter Wishes

It seems weird creating winter cards when it is hot and muggy here!  I realise that the other side of the world is in the depths of winter so it won't seem weird to them at all!

I have used a paper from a paper pad by Ultimate Crafts called Oh La La.  The image is from Delicious Doodles and is coloured with copic markers.  I matted with black cardstock and added some black pearls.  I also added a stamped sentiment (not sure of the brand but I think it might be one that came free with a craft magazine).

Colours of Autumn

This month I have the honour of being the Guest Designer at Delicious Doodles.  The theme for the challenge is "Colours of Autumn".  I used an image called Steampunk Heart.

I also used a paper from a paper pad by MultiCraft.  I coloured the image with copic marker and then fussy cut the image.  I also added some russet coloured textured paper and some wooden embellishments which I coloured with some Finnabar Rust Effect Paste.
