2023 In Review

Before the end of each year, I try to review the projects that I have completed over the past 12 months and create a post highlighting my favourite for each month.  This year some months haven't had much to choose from given the issues with my eyesight for much of 2023.    I have worked on this progressively over a few days as I really wanted to put this post out.

I have shared the love around a bit with a challenge appearing in one month only.  Naturally, since November is mainly creating for Beccy's Place Month of Holiday Cards, I had to choose a Beccy's Place card for that month.

 I don't create many masculine cards but this image spoke to me.  I paired it with a paper that has houses on it - as though the train is passing by the houses.

 I had coloured up this image and not got any further and then realised that it fits the colour scheme at The Outlawz Tuesday so decided to finish the card off today while I was on a roll.

 I started this card for the QKR Challenge for the start of the month and it has taken this long to complete it.

I found a container of some offcut papers that I got a few years ago and forgot about.  They are all different sizes but this particular one was large enough for a card front.  It worked really well with the image from Eureka Stamps.  The sentiment is from QKR Stampede.  I couldn't find it in the shop so I think it must have been discontinued at some point.  Colouring is with copic markers.

I'm back to ferreting out items from my Awaiting Crafting boxes.  This one uses an offcut of cardstock from a square card, digital paper, image and sentiment.  Even the embellishments have been lurking in my stash for quite a while.
