Family and Friends

It is the Midway Point of the November Challenge at Path of Positivity.  The optional twist for November is Power of Words: Family/Friends.

I have used various images of people with cats, as cats are both family and friends.  The images are from A Creative Need, Dearie Dolls, Cuddlebug Cuties, Ppinky Dolls and Little Blue Button.   The digital paper is from PixelScrapper and colouring is with copic markers.

Let's Get Sketchy At Incy Wincy Designs

That's right - the challenge this fortnight at Incy Wincy Designs is a Sketch Challenge.  For this challenge, we are sponsored by Ppinky Dolls and All Dressed Up.

I have used an image from Ppinky Dolls called Summer Christmas 2.

I also used some offcut pieces of patterned paper from Christmas paper pads.  I'm not sure if both of them are from Kaisercraft but I know for sure that the one on the top right/bottom left is.  The image is coloured with copic markers and Kindy Glitz.  The sentiment is from a Kaisercraft Christmas paper pad.

Awesome

So far today, the sky is just overcast - but I'm thinking it is going to rain sometime in the next couple of hours.  It would be great to get through a day without any rain - so that I can hang my washing outside to dry!

I would like to enter my card into these challenges:
Creative Craft Cottage - Add a butterfly or butterflies

The Corrosive Challenge - Anything Goes
http://corrosivechallengesbyjanet.blogspot.co.nz/2017/08/challenge-8-august-anything-goes_15.html

I have used a paper from a paper pad by Ultimate Crafts.  The image is from Ppinky Dolls and has been coloured with copic markers and matted with some orange cardstock.  I also added a sentiment and a butterfly (with Kindy Glitz added to it) that come from an embellishment pack by Rosie's Studio.

Circus Train

This is one of those images that although you know it is meant to be for a certain occasion, you get another idea in your head and can't shift it!  Whilst I know that it is an Easter image, I see a circus train and can't shift that thought!  So, here is a circus themed card using the image:

Merry Christmas

I think we might be headed for a wet few days.  It started raining last night and doesn't seem to have let up.  I am outside quite a bit today for work so think I'm going to get fairly wet.  I would much rather be inside crafting!

Life is Better in the Summer

I'd have to agree with that!  We are stuck in the middle of winter at the moment - but I'm really looking forward to summer weather again.

I wasn't sure whether a seahorse counted as an animal - definitions of what is an animal differ from person to person.  I went with the idea that it is!

I would like to enter my card into these challenges:

Sweetness with a Bow

I thought this was such a sweet image - so I teamed it with a paper with a Christmas baking theme!

February Page

I have started creating a calendar with a difference.  No dates on it - just month pages in a shabby chic style.  So far, I have created the first three pages - this is the second one:

I would like to enter my card into these challenges:
Open Minded Crafting Fun - Shabby Chic
http://open-mindedcraftingfun.blogspot.co.nz/2015/04/challenge-35-shabby-chic.html
Robyn's Fetish Challenge - Not A Card
http://robynsfetishchallengeblog.blogspot.co.nz/2015/05/challenge-262-anything-goes-532015.html

I have used some white cardstock which I inked with Distress Ink - Vintage Photo.  I added a pre-printed February paper from Graphic 45.  I also used some of the back of this paper - postcard and tags which I cut out from under where I placed the image!  The image is from Ppinky Dolls and has been coloured with copic markers E00, E53, E51, R20.  I also added a piece of vintage braid tied into a knot.
