She who leaves a trail of glitter

This month at Path of Positivity Challenge, the optional twist is "Inspired by Texture".   I love the texture of glitter, so I used this as my inspiration for the start of the challenge.

I have used a faux glitter digital paper for the background.  The images are from Cuddlebug, Digital Doodling and May Brit.  The sentiment is from A Piece of Heart.  Colouring is with copic markers.  I added Kindy Glitz (glitter) to the wings and Wink of Stella to the dresses.  I also added some tiny glitter domes.

True Courage is to keep traveling when you can't see the map

It is the start of the second October 2023 Anything Goes Challenge at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends.  For this challenge, we are sponsored by

I have used an image from Le'Ann's World called Beetle Bug.  My friend's first car was a red beetle so that was my inspiration for my color choice.

I also used a digital paper from Spyder's Corner. The sentiment is from A Piece of Heart.  Coloring is with copic markers.  I added a washi tape flag and some black pearls.

True Courage

We are at the start of the May Challenge at Path of Positivity.  The optional twist this month is Celebrate Something Special about your Friends.  One of my school friends was the first of our group to get her driver license and she drove a red VW.

I have used two digital papers.  The top one is from Steady On and the lower one is from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles.  The image is from Doodle Pantry, the larger sentiment is from A Piece of Heart and the singular word sentiments are from Create with TLC.  Colouring is with copic markers.  I also used some washi tape over the join in the papers.  Matting is red cardstock.

Difficult Today

I had several ways that I considered going with this image.

At one point I considered wedding themed as back in history brides wore black.  Then I looked at her face and she didn't look like she was heading to a happy occasion.  That led me to a sympathy theme instead.

I have used a digital paper from a set by Gecko Galz called Bonnie Lass Paper Pack.  The pre-coloured image is also from Gecko Galz and the sentiment is from A Piece of Heart.  I fussy cut the oval in the image and discarded the white outer.  I die-cut the sentiment using a scallop oval to tie in with the oval image.  I also added some enamel dots above the image.

Love Is Always Better With Friends

While I am in lockdown I am intending to try new techniques etc.   While I was sorting through my craft things, I found a template for a card that I purchased last July but hadn't used as yet.  So, this is the base of my card for today

I used a paper from a paper pad by Kaisercraft.  The image is from Gecko Galz.  I also added some pre-made flowers, some gems and a digital sentiment from A Piece of Heart.

There is always something to be thankful for

We are midway through the thankfulness challenge at Path Of Positivity.  This month we are sponsored by A Day For Daisies and Scribbles Designs.

I have used an image from A Day For Daisies which I think is called Almost There.  The store is currently down for maintenance so I can't check that the image name is correct.

I also used a paper from a paper pad by Kaisercraft.  Colouring is with copic markers.  I die-cut a treble clef from silver cardstock using a Memory Box die.  I added a digital sentiment from A Piece of Heart.

Friends

I was inspired by the background in the sketch to create a shaving foam background for my card.  I haven't created any of those backgrounds for a while so I had fun and got messy doing it!

I would like to enter my card into these challenges:
Feeling Sketchy - Sketch
http://feeling-sketchy.blogspot.co.nz/2018/01/sketch-185.html

I have used shaving cream and Distress Ink re-inkers to create the background.  The image is from A Day For Daisies and is coloured with copic markers.  The sentiment is from A Piece Of Heart.

Christmas WIshes

I used a cute little image of a robin - and found some matching paper!

I would like to enter these challeges:

Be Thankful

There are always things that we should be thankful for.

And this is the inner of the card to show the remainder of the sentiment:

This card is for the following challenges:
Avadares Challenge - Thankfulness
http://avadareschallengeblog.blogspot.co.nz/2012/09/challenge-4-thankfulness.html
Platypus Creek - Be Thankful
http://www.platypuscreekdigitals.blogspot.co.nz/2012/10/challenge-18-be-thankful.html

I had a hard time deciding which image I wanted to use for this challenge.  Both of them were Avadares images which I thought were appropriate.  In the end I settled on this one called Thank You Mister Sun which I coloured with my copics.  I also streaked on some Glossy Accents onto Mister Sun to give him a bit of texture.

The background paper is from When the Scrap Hits the Fun.  The paper used for the matting and inner of the card is also from the same set.

The sentiment is a two parter from A Piece of Heart.

Embellishments used are grosgrain ribbon and some satin flowers.
