Season's Greetings

This week at CHNC, the optional twist is "Something beginning with S".  I have a few S words - Santa, summer, sand, sun, stars and even the sentiment starts with S.

Living in the Southern Hemisphere, this is the type of weather that Santa would get when he comes visiting on December 25th.

I have used an image from Diane's Digital Designs and a sentiment from Desert Diva.  Colouring is with copic markers.  I also added some metallic stars.

I would like to enter:

Butterfly

I kept putting off attempting this fold as it looked like it was difficult.  I finally decided to attempt it today - and found it was way easier than I thought it was going to be.

I would like to enter:

Butterfly Challenge - A is for..
https://butterflyspotchallenge.blogspot.com/2022/05/170-spin-butterfly-wheel-with-for-arrow.html

I have used all elements from the butterfly wheel.  The colours are used on the cardstock, two digital papers and the butterfly stickers.

The two digital papers are from Lozzy.  The image is from Diane's Digital Design.  Colouring is with copic markers.

Thanks

I am a Guest DT over at Simply Create Too for their current challenge:
http://simplycreatetoo.blogspot.co.nz/2013/11/challenge-50-give-thanks.html
This is the card I created for that challenge:

I am entering my card into the following challenges:
Seems A Little Sketchy - Sketch

Card Makin Mamas - Give Thanks

Robyn's Fetish - Thanksgiving
http://robynsfetishchallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/2013/11/challenge-184-thanksgiving-1132013.html

I have used some papers from a Kaisercraft paper pad matted with orange cardstock to create the background.  The lovely typewriter image is from Diane's Digital Designs and I added a sentiment from Paper Smooches to the typing paper!  The orange grosgrain ribbon is from American Crafts.  The pennant is a Spellbinders die and the flower is a Marianne's die - both of these have been cut from craft felt.  I also embellished them with some small pearls.

Christmas Tree

A basic Christmas Tree card:

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Simply Create Too - Christmas in July
http://simplycreatetoo.blogspot.co.nz/2013/07/challenge-41-christmas-in-july.html
ABC Christmas - NO embellishments
http://abcchristmaschallenge.blogspot.co.nz/2013/07/n-is-for-no-embellishments.html
CHNC - Trees
http://craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/chnc-133-trees-please.html
CHNC - Anything Christmas
http://craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge2.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/chnc-challenge-extra-for-july.html

Having an image that could be coloured in such a way that embellishments weren't necessary worked well for several of these challenges!

I have used a green card blank this time.  The image is from Diane's Digital Designs.  I enlarged it so that it covered most of the card front.  Colouring is with copic markers with the addition of Stickles and Glossy Accents to give the card some texture.
