Always Beside You

 Midway Inspiration for the April Challenge at Path of Positivity.  The optional twist for April is The Power of Words: Love/Relationships.

The first image is the wedding, the second is leaving for Honeymoon and the third on the honeymoon.

Candy Cane Hugs and Christmas Kisses

This post is a couple of days late as I have been mostly off the computer for the past week.

Anyway, this is my inspiration card for the midway of the April Challenge at 12 Months of Christmas.  The optional twist is Christmas Candy - and I've loaded my card with candy canes!

I have used a digital paper from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles.  Mine came out more blue rather than the teal from the 12 Months of Christmas posts.  My printer seems to have a mind of it's own when printing some colours.  I also used an image that I'm not sure of the source of and a sentiment by From The Heart Stamps.  Colouring is with copic markers.

Shake Your Flakes

I'm late creating with this month's Progressive Freebie image at The Outlawz but at least I'm not right at the last minute!  I thought this adorable snowman looked like he was dancing so chose a sentiment to that effect.  I added snowflake embellishments to echo the snow falling on the background paper.

 I am way later uploading my card for Craft Roulette.  My usual aim is to get the card completed before the end of the show on Saturday.  The last couple of weeks it hasn't been uploaded until Sunday.  This is the first time that I have been a bit closer to the wire uploading it on Monday morning. 

There was one of the prompts that had me stumped for a while as I don't really have supper.  I tend not to eat after dinner but I do have a hot chocolate between dinner and bed so I decided to just work of those colours.  I don't actually sit at a table to have it either as I am usually multi-tasking while drinking it.

Supper Table - I don't eat anything at supper time (too close to sleep time) but I do have a hot chocolate so I have used hot chocolate colours including marshmallows

Shiny - I used some shiny cardstock for matting and also a bit of Glossy Accents on the nose.

 It is the start of the October Challenge at Path of Positivity.  This month's optional twist is "Inspired by a Color Palette".

A Little Dirt Never Hurt

The challenge at Path of Positivity for the month of December is "Sharing Your Dreams For The Future".  My Dream is to get back to growing my own fruit and vegetables.  To me, there is nothing like having fresh vegetables from the garden.  Over the past couple of years, I haven't managed to plant a garden.

I have used an embossing folder from Couture Creations called Drink Me.  I think that is now a retired folder as I couldn't find any embossing folders on their website.  It certainly is one that I have had for quite some time.  I cut the Kaisercraft paper into a rolling curve to represent the sea.  The image is from The Paper Shelter and the sentiment is by From The Heart Stamps.  Colouring is with copic markers.  I also added three glitter gems into some of the bubbles.

Life Is Better In Summer

We have had a bit of sun for the last couple of days.  As we approach Spring, hopefully we will see more of it.  It made me think of the summer weather coming later in the year - and inspired a summery card.  While lighthouses aren't specifically a summer thing, it is certainly much more pleasant to walk from the car park to the lighthouse in summer weather.

I have followed the sketch and the colours.  I also used the bird and friendship themes as well as the "something a friend sent you' and the stitches appear around the message on the inside of the card.
