The Christmas Candle

I don't go to the movies much so I had to google a list of movies to see what movies there are!  The only movie I've been to in the past 10 years or so has been the Paddington movie last year.  Thank goodness for Google!

I have used a pine patterned paper from Kaisercraft for the background.  The image is from Fresh Brewed Designs and the sentiment from Bugaboo Stamps.  I coloured using copic markers.

Count Dra-Carl

I know it is early for Halloween cards to be made - but I just couldn't resist with this image!  We are at the midway point for the Feathers, Fins or Frogs Legs challenge at Scribbles Designs.  As you can see I went with the frogs legs using Scribbles image Count Dra-Carl.

I have used a background paper from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles.  The tombstone die-cuts are a die set from Spellbinders.  I also added some Halloween embellishments.  Colouring is with copic markers and the dots on the tombstones are with a Pentel pen.

Christmas in July

It's the beginning of July - over half way through the year.  That means we are now closer to Christmas 2015 than 2014!  Just as well I'm well on the way with my Christmas Cards!  It's time to remind everyone else to work on their cards too.  And what better incentive to do that, than join in with the monthly challenge at CHNC Extra.

Here is my inspirational card for the July challenge:

I have used an image from Bugaboo Stamps called Winter Birds Scarf.  I coloured the image with copic markers and added some Stickles.  The dies I used for the image and matting are from Spellbinders.  I used glitter cardstock from DCWV for the matting.  I also used some gold glitter domes and some Liquid Pearls.

Twisted Christmas Easel

This is the first twisted easel I have created.  Because I followed a tutorial that wasn't in centimetres I had a bit of fun getting the measurements to work.  I'm glad I persevered with it though.

CHNC - Two words

I have used a striped paper from Sugar and Spice Studio for the background.  The image is from Rick St Dennis and is coloured with copic markers.  The sentiment I used is from Desert Diva.  I also used some glittery mesh ribbon, some oval rhinestones and a ornament cut from glitter cardstock from DCWV  using a Memory Box die.

Red Reindeer

I have gone with a mainly red and white colour scheme for this card.  I have a paper pad of red and white Christmas papers so thought I'd use one of the papers for this card.

I have used a paper and pearls from the paper pad and matching pearls set called "Enchanted" from Rosie's Studio.  It is great having pearls that match the papers.  The image is from Morgan Fitzsimmons and is called Fae 16.  I couldn't find it in the new store but you can find it in the Fitztown store.here.  I coloured the image with copic markers and added Stickles to the wings.

Sparkling Pianist

I had fun adding some sparkle to this card - only trouble is when I photographed the card everything reflected back!
