Bear in Blue

Wow - we are into March already!  Where is the year going?  Time for another Christmas card!  Why don't you join us in being prepared with your christmas cards and share them with us at CHNC Extra for March.

For this card, I have used Bear Stocking from Bugaboo Stamps:

I coloured him using copic markers and added some glossy accents to his candy cane.  The background paper is from Sugar and Spice Studio - a christmas paper pad in blue, read and white.  I matted with some blue mulberry paper.  I also used some Angelina fibres and star embellishments in two different colours.

Snowflakes in red

Usually when I see snowflake papers they seem to be in either blues or grey/silver.  This is the first I've come across that is red!

I have used a paper from a christmas paper pad by Craft Smith.  The image is from The Paper Shelter and is coloured with copic markers plus has Stickles added to the wings.  I used some ribbon from American Crafts, some pearls from Rosie's Studio and a sentiment from Desert Diva (which I also added colour with copic marker R59).

Freebie Friday at Scribbles Designs

Time for a reminder that our challenge this month at Scribbles Designs is to use those Freebie Friday images you have collected.  If you don't have any, head on over to the shop and you can still find plenty of Freebie Friday images available.

For my midway card, I have used Banner Flag and Champagne Glasses.

I created a one layer card for a change.  The images have been coloured with copic markers.  I die-cut the lettering using black cardstock and a Tattered Lace Alphabet die.  I added some "string" for the banner and also some faux stitching around the edge of the card.

Owl in the trees

I was inspired by thinking of an owl among the greenery - hence the green papers surrounding the image.

I have used some scrapbook papers that I bought a few years back.  I matted each layer with green cardstock.  The image is from Bugaboo Stamps and is coloured with copic markers.  I added a layered owl embellishment from Sugar and Spice Studio.

Hello Friend

This card was created using the sketch from Feeling Sketchy.  I had intended to enter it in the challenge as I thought I still had over an hour to submit it after work.  When I went to upload it last night, I discovered the challenge had already closed so I left it until this morning so I could go looking for some other challenges to enter it into!

I have used a double sided paper from MME for this card.  The card blank I used is green too.  The image is from Polka Doodles and is coloured with copic markers.  I die-cut the image into a tag shape and added a twine bow.  I also added a digital sentiment.

Girl with Heart

I have used my favourite colours for this card - some nice summery ones.  I think I need to remind myself that summer isn't over just yet despite the fact that we have had a run of bad weather for the past few days.

I have used a paper from a paper pad.  The image is from Tickell Expressions and has been coloured wtih copic markers.  I coloured a doily with Dylusions Ink and placed this behind the image.  I also used three red pearls from Rosie's Studio, some washi tape from Sugar and Spice Studio and a piece of ribbon tied into a bow.
